In 28 years of traveling, this is easily the most filthy hotel I have ever encountered, and I used to have to travel to Detroit.
The hallways are filthy. My room was not cleaned when I checked in. There was still someone else's trash in the bin, a used cup was in the sink, the previous occupant smeared lipstick on the sinks, a lamp, some of the sheets, etc. As far as I could tell, I only saw one housekeeper who has no chance to clean a property this size. I know she never made it to my room.
There was a chair in the room that was scratched up and in bad shape, which the solution was to throw a cover over it.
The only positives were that the fridge, microwave, and TV worked. Also, I found the staff to be nice. The issues here run so deep that I don't think there's anything they can do.
Overall, just absolutely horrible. It's sad because you can tell that this once was a nice property, but that's long gone. Please, don't even think of staying here
