Making people feel special must be their superpower because I was pleasantly surprised by a special gift I received for my birthday. The staff was always courteous, helpful and friendly. I loved that the lobby where they had a few games you could play but was so relaxing and quiet that there were several people just sitting around and chatting. It's proximity to the L had its pros and cons. The only con being the noise but it was so minimal that you only heard it while sitting on the window seat. Yes! There was a cushion and pillows specifically placed there to sit and enjoy the view. And oh what a view! If you're lucky enough to get a room facing the street, you'll be rewarded with a lovely view of the river and surrounding buildings. I can't say enough great things about this property. I would recommend it and when I come back to Chicago will choose it again.

Great week close to a lot of the places we wanted to see and the subway station is walking distance only complaint was we had the do not disturb sign on door and the guy who worked for housekeeping still knocked on our door other than that no issues!!
