Won’t stay here again
Check-in was late because head maid had to make sure all was well. I had to wait til 4:30. Once in room I had no shampoo. No blanket on bed. I asked front desk first thing in the morning next day and when we got back to room that night nothing was done. I had to go back down and ask again for shampoo and blanket. Room has conditioner and soap only. No lotion, mouthwash, etc.
was charged $48 a night for parking I didn’t use. Hoping it gets taken off my card soon.
Room is way over priced.
The location is great for anyone visiting or attending an event at U Chicago. They service the room once every three days. They offer daily service upon request but they do not do it. It should be clear when the reservation is made that this is a hotel without daily room cleaning.
Loved everything besides having to wait till 4:30 when our room was ready. Otherwise we loved the staff, amenities, location, and top notch breakfast! We'd stay here agsin.
The day stuff was very good , friendly and helpful. The food in the Placery was disgusting!!! I placed an order one night. When I went down to pick it up I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to help me. I thought my food was not delivered yet! When someone came over my food had been sitting on the counter the whole time. Cold and dried out!!!
I thought in all it was a decent hotel for what we came for!!! we came to chicago for lollapalooza and wanted something simple to stay in and also have good transportation which I thought was PERFECT!
the location is very close to the metro and the hotel is in the greatest public area! also there was breakfast included and wifi as well!!
ONLY thing that was strange was the housekeeping on our floor. I think the specific girl we had didn’t really care and wouldn’t clean our rooms that’s good. Also they took away our towels 2 times and we had to wait to recieve them which was strange and tiring!
In all though, we would DEFINITELY come back to this hotel for next year lolla and cannot wait !! :)
Good location, around 10 miles away from downtown, but it is in a safe area, where you can walk around and found restaurants, supermarket and departments store. Rooms are confortable, but the only problem we had it was nobody cleaned our roon in 5 days we stayed in...we asked for it three times ...thats why i think this hotel is not excellent
Hotel in a busy area, but able to find a place to station the car across the street from the hotel which wasn’t that bad. The staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and nice. I would recommend and stay again. Not to mention many places to walk to.
The common areas in the hotel were clean. The community around the hotel was dirty but had a lot of great dining and food options. The hotel staff and management provided substandard service.
