Dependending on the room they give you, it can be noisy due to the metro train.
Elevators one of two was working.
Homeless people outside of the hostel. (They werent rude).
We wanted to do Karaoke, went to the 2nd floor where it was supposed to be and didnt see anyone doing that activity, went to the front desk to ask about it and that person was so lost on the info provided, nothing related to what was announced
There was hair in the showers.
The lightbulb in our restroom area wasnt working right.
Winston was amazing helping us out get a new room far from the noise. But we when out walked around had dinner when it was time to sleep we realized theres no air conditioning on our room :( went to the front desk and didnt really get help. The guy at the front desk refered to ask for certain person for help.that person sent me to see if another person could help, I went to ask for help to another room. Like, the other guy was just sitting at the stairs by the lobby....
No one opened the door so we slept without ac.
Other than that I think the concept is good. I think you can meet great people and about their culture too, we didnt really get to experience that this time, but we have in other hostels
