We didn’t get the room we requested. We were given a handicapped room. We were supposed to be on the same floor with my grandkids to help watch them. My wife was dealing with a broken foot and couldn’t take the stairs. There was only one or two elevators working and the wait for an elevator was too long. One wait was seven minutes. The only good part of the stay was the pool area. It was excellent. The toilet kept running loudly even after they came to fix it. I talked to the front desk about the issues we were having and he couldn’t care less and was not helpful at all. Not willing to do anything to help. I was very disappointed with this experience.

Our stay was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Only thing was the cost of parking per day was excessive, $62.00 A DAY! I was really disappointed that I wasn’t aware of that before we booked through Expedia. Other than the outrages price for parking the stay was great.

Loved this double tree because parking was included which is VERY Hard to find parking less then almost $80 a night. Front desk was very kind. I stayed at 3 different hotel chains for my whole stay and this double tree was by far my favorite which really made our trip so much better after all the hectic ness of the other hotels we stayed at.

Parking was easy! Check-in simple (Trainee Antonio was amazing!) and you get warm cookies and free bottles of water. Certain areas of property are worn down, lots of pain chipped off bathroom cabinets and tub and was glad to have slippers as carpet was a bit “gummy”. These did not detract from the comfy bed and fluffy pillows as well as the attentive staff!!

Please know - I am VERY easy going BUT our stay was terrible. This property is VERY misrepresented. There is no room service despite it being listed under amenities on the Hilton.com website - and the onsite dining options are cheesy. Because I was vacationing with my 86 year old Mom, room service after a day of shopping was important. The toilet never fully flushed, the sink was plugged and quickly filled with water which was gross. Housekeeping was great but the concierge staff could hardlybe bothered - nor could they recommend a good restaurant. For $434 a night I expected much more. Do not stay at this hotel - you can do much better for the money in Chicago.
