This was an amazing hotel. The staff and facilities were impeccable and so well maintained. Our only issue was the breakfast. The food was not well prepared and the wait staff weren’t very pleasant. However, this would still be an option for us to stay again. Great location, within walking distance to the beach, the Magnificent Mile for shopping, and Navy Pier. Other than the only breakfast we had at the hotel, the stay was perfect!

Not exactly happy with my stay. Payed way more than normal for it to not look like the pictures. Carpet was stained and bathroom shower curtain kept wrapping itself around you when trying to take a shower. Would like someone to reach out to me about this

I have stayed at this hotel previously and I enjoyed my stay. This stay was more than double the normal price and much less enjoyable. We had a corner room with a weird toilet facing into the room and a shower that did not work. There is no coffee in the room and the coffee was late in the am. I will never stay here again.

We were on the 12th floor so water temperature above warm was not available. The toilet had a strong flush but had difficulty clearing the toilet. The room was clean. It is a few blocks from the lake and old town. All of the staff was kind and gracious.

The property was unique due to location and rooms laid back home feel. But booking through Expedia the hotel gave us a us had stains a damaged room the carpet and furniture had stains water damage in the bathroom ceiling and outside wall of room. All the staff we encountered were incredibly kind and helpful. Lots of character and charm. Easy walk to the beach. Nice coffee, tea and water set up in the lobby. Comfy beds and pillows. Would have loved a mirror in the room (in addition to the one in the bathroom) since we are a family of 4.
