Cheap flights to San Jose

San Jose is one of California's secret gems, and the ideal destination for a vacation. Located in Northern California, San Jose is perfect for that short weekend getaway. Popular attractions include Alum Rock Park and the SAP center where the NHL Sharks play, and there are fantastic museums for children such as the Children’s Discovery Museum, if you're traveling with the whole family.

Getting Around

The easily accessible Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) is the smallest of the three main airports in the Bay Area. There is a rental car center located in the airport, so it will be easy for you to commute to your hotel during your visit. From the airport, take Highway 87 south, and you could be in Downtown San Jose in under ten minutes. The city's best attractions are conveniently within driving distance along I-680 or I-880.

Hints and Tips

It rarely rains in San Jose; however, it does tend to be a bit more brisk with the average temperature around 60 degrees Fahrenheit, even during the summer. Most of the area's hotels are conveniently located in Downtown San Jose, so you will not have to travel very far to have a great night out on the town. Downtown San Jose is home to numerous dive bars, dance clubs and amazing restaurants like Mezcal which specializes in Mexican cuisine.
