Don’t like the billing system. Paid full up front and I still have daily charges pending on my credit card. It’s like double billing and it’s been over a week since I checked out. That should never happen
My wife and I frequently visit this location every other month or so. However, it seems that the NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM values misleading people just to get them to purchase a room over the values they previously up held.
We called the front desk before our arrival to see if emotional support animals were included in the pet fee. The gentleman on the phone said he didn't know and went to go check with someone. He got back on the phone and said everything was fine and we would just need to bring the paperwork with us.
After driving 3 hours on the next day, we arrived at the hotel. We presented our paperwork and the gentleman at the front desk said the paperwork looked good and we wouldn't be charged.
Upon checkout I see a pet fee on my receipt. (This where communication is key). Leading someone to believe something is FREE but is really NOT FREE is very misleading.
It is also very convenient that you are experts on your policies AFTER you have taken someone's money. This seems to be recurring theme for us considering that all of my sisters belonging were stolen and trashed at one of your Atlanta locations. This happened to occur on the anniversary of our fathers passing.
We will never stay at an IHG hotel ever again. I guess IHG really stands for:

This hotel was perfect. It was about a 22 min drive from downtown Charlotte. The area is very safe since there is a police station right next to the property. There are several dining options in walking distance and grocery stores nearby. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, shower worked great. The best part was the breakfast buffet each morning.
Very clean hotel. Has a keureg coffee machine in the room, good breakfast)french toast, eggs, hot coffee. I would stay here again. I stayed by myself for a funeral.
Even though I had problems with the Rent-A-Car, everything was wonderful even the way they handles the Rent-A-Car and only had five hours left before I had to return. They still gave me another car and I enjoyed my vacation.
We were warmly received by a young man at the front desk, employee of the month no less! The breakfast, however, was disappointing. It was great on a previous visit, so we were surprised.
Great hotel , served breakfast every morning 7-10am, gym is perfect for a late night workout , & they do have a temporary damage fee $50-$100 hold upon booking but it will be reimbursed after you check out !
The hotel was great, but we recieved charges everyday even though we paid for everything a month in advance. Each day we talked to the desk clerk and they said they would fix it, but even more were added the next day. We talked to the manager who was not very helpful. All i can say is watch your charges.
