The hotel is great their breakfast is terrible. No service at al, the waitress had to be chased around to get silverware, didn’t offer coffee or anything; the breakfast buffet is what other hotels often include in the price of stay.

This was a fine experience other than the Hotel Van situation. Room was great and beds excellent. Unfortunately, van took 45 minutes to pick us up despite being advertised as coming around every 30 minutes. Driver clearly didn't leave when front desk said she left after I called. Blamed traffic but other hotel vans were coming by twice before DoubleTree van arrived. When van arrived, two folks couldn't lift into van and had to be left behind. Hotel is recommended highly if driving, but if flying into Charlotte, I suggest another hotel.

Staff at the Doubletree Hilton was very friendly and understanding that I had been stranded by weather. They easilyboffered me transportation to and from the airport. And recommended excellent options to dine within walking distance
