Fun accommodations with challenges
We received a call from someone other then I think the owner. The listing said we would be greeted at checkin if it was before 9pm to go over the use of the boat. This would have been super helpful to navigate a number of issues with the property. We arrived around 7 and was only given directions to the boat. It took a day to find the actual FOB for the parking gate as it was not in the tray with the other key like items. Which we never figured out what they were for. The second bathroom faucet did not work. Faucet handle in working bathroom comes off. Never was able to use the TV's. Many of the lights did not work. Texted several questions for assistance and only half were replied. Refrigerator did not get cold enough until the last day. Had to keep creamer for coffee in freezer. Overall a fun place but in desperate need of some repairs. I did see many people had noted the same issues, it is unfortunate they have not addressed them.

Great hotel alternative
Stayed for four nights with my son on our first trip to Charleston, looking at a potential college. It was great to have two bedrooms and bathrooms, plus common space. The staff was very responsive, flexible, and helpful. I spent one afternoon on the back deck, sipping iced coffee and watching the dolphin pod on the other side of the dock. We also went out with Redfin for a fishing charter, which was excellent, Highly recommend. Would add Gogibop to the list of easily walkable restaurants.

Time to tow to junkyard
I will still attempt to get all of my funds returned. But I will state that RedFin did refund a majority that we paid minus the money that goes to VRBO. The photos listed on their site must be from 20 years ago because they are NOTHING like what you actually see. I was even told after our stay - this was being towed to the yard. Then to boot we lost partial electrical on Friday night for over 17 hours which took out the fridge, tv & many outlets. They did send someone to look at it - to no avail. All of the food we purchased was ruined in the fridge which proved more trouble for myself as I'm on special foods due to a precancerous condition in my stomach. Initially the contact with the management was fine - but as more problems occurred - I seemed to frustrate the management. I'd post pictures ... The entry door can be next to impossible to open. About 75% of the light bulbs don't work The outside is so dirty and looks uncared for The sand bags and tarp on the bow are less than desirable to look at or look through when you're below. The interior is dirty There's openings that shouldn't be visible as there are obviously panels missing. The master bath shower handle shouldn't come off. The master bath sink faucet sprays everywhere. The canopies enclosures are all broken and visually an eye sore. The wet bar is useless. The fridge and freezer is disgusting The shower curtain is moldy and dirty There's hair everywhere There are broken shades in the Master bath

Unique get away
The boat was nice but older so it needs a bit of updating. We really enjoyed the peaceful location and the view was amazing from the boat. At least half of the lights inside the boat did not work so it was very dark and difficult to see in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and over the dining area. Also, the Keurig had water left in it and it was growing green algae. The fridge needs to be replaced - bought some milk but it never cooled and the milk spoiled. Also, the description needs to warn you that this boat is a very long walk from where your car is parked, we had heat exhaustion pulling our load of luggage and supplies in the cart provided. Publix is a 2 block drive away so that was convenient. This would be a great getaway if the boat was better maintained, however we really enjoyed our trip and I think with some much needed maintenance you could book this property all summer.

Phenomenal View
First off the view is amazing, they pulled the boat to the end of the dock so we had unobstructed views of the nightly sunset, frequent dolphin sightings and even one shark sighting. The staff of Redfin Charters are also topnotch, very attentive to your needs and willing to assist at all times. Now, for the boat, classified as a luxury yacht, which i do not believe it is. The bost is old and had multiple isses, for example: the vinyl on the upper deck could be cleaned of stains, no working power on the outside besides lighting, outside sink broken, lights in main cabin were out, door to second bathroom broken, no running water in second bathroom, carpet floor always felt damp, air conditioner went out while there and had to repeatedly flip switch in breaker box. They did address that issue immediately but basically had to divert power throughout boat to keep air working, thus leaving us with one working outlet...ended up with coffee maker in the bedroom. With all that being said, I would stay there again if they assured me that aĺl the issues have been fixed, that is how much we loved the view and appreciated their professionalism.

Nice change of pace...
We had a great stay on the Dolce Vita. Would definitely choose this over a hotel for any future visits. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Beautiful views/sunsets and a good location. Watched a pod of dolphins swimming around the yachts which was a bonus to the stay. And Tanner, with Red Fin Charters, was a great host. Thanks!

Fun Getaway
This was a fun getaway. Short was great and the boat was clean. It is an older boat and not in perfect shape, but for the price, it was perfect! The location was beautiful and conveniently located within walking distance of Publix. It was a quick car ride to the Charleston Market. I would definitely do this trip again.

Great View From Back, A Bit Overpriced and the Road Noise is Constant
We enjoyed our stay, and it was conveniently located; however, the boat was not well stocked, and I think it was overpriced for what it was. Soap was not available in one of the bathrooms. I agree with one of the other reviewers that a bit of maintenance and TLC is needed. As a previous liveaboard boat owner in a marina, I understand it is constant. Also, as an owner of several vacation rentals for the past few years, I would have expected better stocking of basics such as coffee, some starter water, etc. Overall, we had a great time during our stay, and the fishing charter was excellent, but I would not stay on the boat next time unless it was priced more reasonably. I love staying in marinas, but note that this marina is not quiet. The road noise is constant on the bridge, but there are hardly any people in the marina itself.

Grandma’s Birthday Weekend
My mother and son (17 yr old) joined me to celebrate my mother’s birthday on the yacht. It was a wonderful, relaxing, unique experience! With a kitchen, living area with sleeping space, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and plenty of “viewing deck” seating upstairs, we never had to leave the boat. I highly recommend this type of getaway!

Best Vacation Ever
This boat is absolutely amazing with beautiful views and sunsets. I will say I was a little hesitant about booking this, but we haven’t been home long and ready to book again. Everyone at the marina was great and the owners and staff of this boat were great working with as well. Much better than a house VRBO for sure.

Charleston weekend
We had a great, relaxing weekend! Even though it rained much of the weekend, it did clear for a wonderful sunset in the evening! We had an amazing view for the sunset and also for the River dogs’ Friday night fireworks show, which was a nice surprise! And, we were entertained by the dolphins swimming in the harbor! The boat was as described and had wonderful AC! It was nice to explore the town during the day and come back to a relaxing spot at night!

Check in was a breeze. Our car was parked in a secured lot. Wonderful spot across from a Publix, great location. Honestly I’ve stayed at a million rentals and it was such a easy check in and check out. They ask you to pick up your trash and leave the keys and have a reasonable checkout time. Love the Jaws DVD’s, super comfy beds and GREAT AC. Honestly best trip this summer

Memorial Day Weekend 05.2023
The boat was very nice and plenty of room for 2 couples. Great location to Charleston. Staff was very nice and receptive when we alerted them to a few issues. The boat does need some overall maintenance and should be checked a little closer before renting to be proactive rather than reactive. There is no way to lock the boat as a previous client had broken it at least 6 months before. Apparently it is not an easy fix to replace the lock and new door is ordered (8 month delay?) but there needs to be something done in the interim to enable the customers to lock the boat and their belongings when they leave. We were not informed of this in advance! The boat only has 1 full bath in which to shower and 1 half bath though advertised as 2 full baths. Worked ok for us but maybe not for everyone. Beds were pretty comfortable overall but Queen-size bed advertising in both bedrooms is questionable. The porthole in the ceiling above the front bedroom leaked due to the torrential downpour during the weekend. Staff was very accommodating and covered from the outside with plastic and sand bags BUT it needs to be fixed correctly now that they know the problem exists. Little issues like door knobs on bathroom door, tv not working in one bedroom, light not working in one bedroom, remotes needing batteries....As mentioned before, the boat is a nice size and concept is GREAT and would rent it again but it needs some tender loving care.
