Staff were very friendly and helpful. Someone's dog was barking incessantly on the upper floor. Called the front desk and they were already working on the complaint trying to get a hold of the guest. Only complaint was the drink prices in the lobby were way too high. No vending machines on the floors either. Overall stay was great!

We enjoyed our stay
We booked a king suite and on arrival were in a standard king, which meant there was no where for our lil guy to sleep, the night clerk was as helpful as he could be for a booked hotel. He got us a roll away bed and was super nice. We had an issue with kids in the pool, they were yelling, diving cannon balling and soaking our things when doing so, he came in and dealt with it and was going to get us quarters to use the dryer for free. He was super apologetic. The next night at the pool he came in to make sure everything was good, which it was. After the pool we needed more towels for our room and he grabbed them happily and was always making sure that we were happy with our stay.

Nasty hotel
After I got in I went for a nap, only to find that the sheets were dirty. There were loose hairs in the bedsheets and what looked like makeup on the pillow cases. To their credit, they did fix the situation, but that shouldn't have been an issue to begin with.

My family stayed here for a few days while in Newport for the first time. We liked that it was easily accessible off the main road. It was clean, quiet and affordable. I’d definitely stay here again!
