Columbia River Gorge
The location was perfectly situated to provide us access to both sides of the Columbia river with many, many scenic hikes with waterfalls and lovely vistas. It also provided easy access to and from Portland. The house worked well for what we wanted to do. Thank you!

We loved it. Inside the house was great. The neighborhood is a little shabbysweet, but we walked all over and met friendly people. The view is more roof, less lake and mountain view, but we so enjoyed sitting on the deck, seeing birds, glimpsing sailboats or the paddlewheeler. Again we loved it, those quibbles are just in the interest of accuracy.

Great location for my friends who have never been west. We’re familiar with this area so easy to show our friends. Plenty of towels so that was great. Loved the balcony! Great view!

Newly remodeled and nice inside!
Nice place. Only complaints were that there seemed to be a fair amount of dead insects around the house and there was no coffee. I don't recall staying at a VRBO that did not provide coffee.

Great House to visit Cascade Locks
The house we great and we had a wonderful time in Cascade Locks. The house is very clean and very close to the city center. I would rent there again if I come to the area, however not if it is hot, as there is no AC and with the windows open you hear the trains come through town which makes sleep difficult.

Loved It!
We used the house as a home base for my daughter's wedding in Stevenson Washington and it could not be better, for the six of us with a bedroom and bonus room downstairs! Also a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the Columbia River from the deck the morning after.

We really enjoyed out stay at this property. It was very clean and the location was perfect for us. The view from the patio and kitchen window is fabulous! There are two levels in this property and quite a few stairs, which should be noted (don't know if it was). Overall, we were very happy with this property.

My friends and I stayed here for 5 nights. The home had everything that we needed. Shoutout to the maintenance staff, who came to check out the freezer on Saturday, as we thought it was broken. Turned out to be user error, but he took good care of us. I definitely would stay here again.

Very good property
The property was very clean and the check-in process was super easy. This is a great place to stay in Cascade Locks. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Six adults stayed here quite comfortably. Sitting on the deck with morning coffee or during evening happy hour and looking at the river was delightful. If you need groceries, we recommend going across The Bridge of the Gods to a grocery store. The small grocery store in Cascade Locks was very expensive. Response time from Vacasa was very good when booking the property. When asked about fans for the rooms, it took a reminder after five days of no response. Fans were delivered and that was very nice. When we looked at the backs of the fans, they were dirty as though they had been in a garage or storage. When we sent an email asking about how to recycle, we never received a response. The groundskeeper started work one evening at 5:45 so we went inside for happy hour due to the high pitched whine of the weed eater. Perhaps he could be scheduled to come at a different time of day. All in all, it was a very good pproperty.

We stayed here while attending a wedding. It was a fantastic place for our family- lots of room, incredibly clean (the microwave was spotless), and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we might need. The view from the deck was lovely as well. Would definitely recommend.

This is a really nice place with a spectacular view off the deck as well as out the front window. It’s nice that there are two sleeping areas that are not next to each other so everyone gets more sleep. Great location. Very clean and beautifully decorated. They have some very interesting framed pictures of the area in the house.

Perfectly appointed
Wonderfully comfortable with everything you need in the kitchen down to fresh, local coffee beans. Comfortable. Attractive. Great for our family of four. I book several properties a year and this by far the best outfitted. They were very thoughtful down to the dog treats. Would definitely stay here again. One note: This property is managed by a third party management company (VRBO won't let me name company). I booked through VRBO and thought I would deal with VRBO but the communication went through 3rd party). I had no way to contact owner for questions etc. Much prefer to deal directly with VRBO. The management company was very polished but not personal.

Great location and view
Had a wonderful weekend in this split level home. Kitchen and bathrooms are remodeled which was great. Tons of outdoor recreation close by and walking distance to the brewery! I would say the only downside was the bed in the master is very springy and should be replaced. Thanks for keeping it pet friendly! Will probably stay again.

View is great
We enjoyed our stay although it was very hot in Oregon and there's no A/C (which we knew). There were a lot of fans out which were appreciated. The view to the gorge is great and we enjoyed hanging out on the deck. We thought both couches were pullouts but only one is a pullout. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and nice. It's a good 20 minute drive to the Hood River town.

Comfortable, clean and modern digs with an amazing view
This house has a nice view of the river, albeit over a few rooftops and through the trees. There was a delightful array of birds singing and dancing along the power lines and in the trees. Great deck for relaxing and enjoying the breeze. Based on previous reviews with complaints about decor, I believe this house has been completely remodeled. Beautiful bathrooms, awesome walk in shower upstairs. Nice and cool downstairs in the separate apartment. Upstairs did cool off once we opened the slider and windows in the evening. There were plenty of fans onsite, we didn’t miss the AC. It was much nicer to have the windows open and listen to the birds, the train, the captain of the stern wheeler making his announcements (he’s also the mayor). All beds were comfy except the one on the R side (River side) upstairs. That bed was hard as a rock, needs a mattress topper. House is walking distance into town, the marina, and to Bridge of the Gods. We will be staying here again for sure!
