The Sofitel staff were extremely welcoming. Casablanca Morocco, Sofitel Tour Blanche My wife and I just concluded a 8 days trip to Casablanca where we stayed at the Sofitel Tour Blanche. Our positive experience started a couple of weeks ahead of our arrival where I worked with Mr Jawad to develop our local itinerary to include using the hotel taxi to pick us and drop us off to the airport. Our stay was wonderful, the whole Sofitel staff made us feel at home. Mr Abdel Rahim was super helpful arranging our restaurant reservations and giving us tips on using local taxis. In fact I would not be exaggerating to say that all the staff we encountered carried a welcoming smile and addressed us by name. The Sofitel team arranged a one day trip to Marrakech with the hotel taxi. The driver, Mr Hakim, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Besides speaking multiple languages, his knowledge of the area is impressive and his command of the history of Morocco was enriching. My wife and I are seasoned travelers and have been to Asia pacific, Europe, South America and the Middle East. I would be only fare to rate the Sofitel team at 10/10. The stuff we’re not friendly, the guy in breakfast asking you ten times about you’re room number every day, they don’t speak a word of English, the spa stuff were trouble, she said they have time for massage when she say my girlfriend she said no no, we are fully booked all this week, when I asked the receptionist they said they are always available because the hotel is empty now. So totally disappointed

It is a pretty dated property. Location is reasonable. In trying to keep the French vibe, the doors etc. Seem from a bygone era with substantial wear and tear, particularly the toilet door. Newer properties in the area might be worth checking out.
