WORST HOTEL
terrible experience, vending machine broken, ice machine broken. i asked for water and they told me id have to walk to a gas station. room was filthy and made my feet black (picture of the wipes i used on my feet) no bible in the room, one star is generous. Absolute terrible hotel. i’d prefer a hotel 6 in stockton.

This property was SORELY misrepresented. It was totally unsafe, door would not lock, pee on toukwt seat, wifi wont work, frint desk wont answer phone ,broken steep concrete stairs , wasp nest putside room ( allergic),missing bath mat,dirty fridge , tv was disconnected from Tv, nightstand lamp sparks when plugged in and did not work , pool filled with algea and muddy water , closed when they said it was open...it was REALLY BAD .worst expedia experience EVER. Requesting refund or credit towards expedia ...also i wanted no smoking room and they put us in a smoking room anyway, no toiletries stocked in room.....what can be done ?

Horrible, I understand you get what you pay for, but the sheets were dirty, garbage from a previous person was left in the fridge, the bathroom smelled like sewer the entire time. Horrible

This place needs a total renovation or at least a huge cleaning and more maintenance. One of the worse places I have ever stayed at. Convenient location but that is the only thing positive I can say about it. Will NOT be staying here again.

My daughter and I did not get to stay. When I went to Chicken, I got out of the car and couldn’t breathe the entire town smelled. I walked into the office and saw that the pool area was dirty and the pool was a green swamp. I let the clerk know that I could not stay there since I was expecting to have a pool to for my daughter to play in he said I could get a refund from Expedia I called & wrote to Expedia and it’s now three weeks and I still haven’t heard back from

It would have been nice if they had posted on their website that the swimming pool was out of order that there was construction on the property also that they no longer were serving complimentary breakfast. We also had problems with lots of ants in our room. The area was nice we did like the fact that there was a playground right by the hotel and convenience stores.

It appears that this property is under slow reconstruction. But it's better than my stay at the Nugget in Reno. At least the A/C at the QI was outstanding. Also had a great refrigerator and the tv was good..Best of all, the people in Minden were so friendly. Didn't meet one person that wasn't smiling and helpful.

The place is dirty and falling apart. Pool is closed but on website it says pool is open on certain days. Pool is green and full of mildew. Property looks abandoned and mold is growing on the outside walls. It was so bad we didn’t didn’t stay there and I am fighting Expedia for my money back. I DO NOT recommend booking this place.

The pool was a cesspool. It was not open, and shouldn't have been as it was standing filthy water, an attractive nuisance for mosquitos. The internet didn't work. The front desk guy gave us a password for a separate router for their office, which worked intermittently in our room. The A/C didn't work in the lobby.

Do not stay here! We went to check in and the office had no ac, a sign up stating there’s no breakfast being served at this time. Another sign stating the Wi-Fi was out. Another sign stating the pool was closed. After a 30 hour straight drive I just wanted a bed to sleep in so I still checked into the hotel. The room we were assigned smelled of some chemical; there were fries flying around, and the window had tape across a huge crack. We immediately went back to the desk to refund our stay.

I stayed at this hotel twice. The first time, I stayed for a night and a half while passing through on my way to a travel nursing assignment. The second stay was during the week because I had traveled extensively across the USA and thought that despite the reviews, $100 a night couldn't be too bad given its proximity to the facility. However, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The only positives were the friendly staff at check-in and their offer to let me connect my laptop to the internet in the lounge since there's no WiFi in the hotel. Additionally, if you have Verizon, expect zero service both in the hotel and throughout the entire town. There’s no room phone, so if anything goes wrong, you're in a bad situation. The area and the rooms are run down, and there’s a persistent sewage smell both outside and possibly inside. I thought just sleeping there would be manageable since I work 12-hour shifts, but on my second night, I was attacked by ants and bugs in my sleep. They were everywhere—on the towels, counters, and bed. I had a severe allergic reaction and ended up being a patient at the hospital instead of an employee. Despite the friendly staff, the proximity to the hospital, and the air conditioning, I wouldn't stay here again, especially at those prices.
