Looks exactly like the pictures. Great location, 5 minute drive to all necessities. Very steep driveway and stairs, but not unbearable (was not there when there is snow). I like the layout of the house and the kitchen is fully equipped.

Pleasant but could have been better
Compared to other places we’ve stayed in the past few years in the incline village area, this home was older feeling, a little dirtier, and not as accurate as to the photos online. No AC is a problem in the summer. Getting in out of the garage was a hassle. Location is great, incline village, close to sand harbor.

Quiet lovation
We loved almost everything about this quaint little cabin. The location was perfect, the neighborhood was quiet and the furnishings were great. If there was anything to nitpick it would have been the driveway and outdoor spaces. The driveway is very steep and it scratched the bottom of our car each time we drove up and down it. The patio off of the kitchen was dirty and the porch felt a little unsafe. I would have liked to have sat on the patio furniture in the back but it was dirty and torn up. Again we very much enjoyed our time there but some upgrades do seem necessary.

The bathrooms could use an upgrade compare to the rest of the house. The balcony was a bit unsafe but was spacious. The driveway was the most horrific because it was too steep, tight, and at an odd angle.

Loved it
My wife and I spent an extremely pleasant month here. The property is in a lovely location up in the northern section of Incline Village providing great views of trees all around and the mountainside in the south part of town. We saw a bear with her cubs just outside on our first morning - magical! The property is managed through a service (Avantstay) that are extremely responsive to customers. I was in touch with them a few times and each time received a response inside an hour or two. I can’t speak highly enough of the local AvantStay team who helped provide some additional items that I’d suggested future customers might appreciate. They were fantastic and added significantly to our satisfaction as customers! As other reviewers have mentioned, the driveway is extremely steep and is simply not suitable for some vehicles. We arrived with a cargo carrier in the back of our small SUV, and I had to remove it to get up the driveway without incurring damage. Even then I occasionally scraped the tow hitch of my car if I took too aggressive an angle coming up. One other annoyance that was a real shame: some neighbors with dogs have zero respect for this private property and were observed directly by us chaperoning their dog over to defecate on the driveway of this property (not on the street - on the driveway!). As this area is where the trash goes into the bear box, on several occasions I had to take a snow shovel to clear away the massing amounts of dog dirt.

Family Getaway
This home was exactly what we wanted. A place close to the lake that our family could gather , cook and reconnect. It had essentially everything we needed and was described. My only recommendation would be to include a couple baby gates in the closets. The stairs while beautiful- were not conducive for a toddler so we did a lot of helicoptering. My son loved walking around in the forest outback and the bunk beds! I do recommend this place for family gatherings for sure!

IV House
The house is great! Clean, comfortable and charming. Very close to everything in town. Only disappointing thing is that no access offered to Incline Beaches. I know this is a trend and I am aware of the reasons why, but something should be reconsidered. The Incline beaches are a main summer attraction and it’s disappointing not to be able go. I would encourage property owners to work something out with IVGID for there rental guest.

Not for seniors or small children
The house looked tired. Had lots of stairs. Brick stairs to upper level (living room and master bedroom) were steep and dangerous. Bathtub was slippery. Chairs around kitchen table were very uncomfortable. Driveway was very steep — car would bottom out unless you ascended and descended very slowly and carefully. It was our worst rental experience at Incline. Though we rented for a week, we only stayed one night.

Clean house in great location
We were a party of four 50ish women and agreed that this property deserved five stars. Here are a couple notes of caution: The posts about this property that warn about the steep driveway and lots of stairs are not exaggerating There are no cushions on the chairs/stools in the dining room kitchen, or balcony (all are hard metal) Layout with living room on second floor seems better for parents and kids than six adults The things we liked: Beautiful view of stars Close drive to everything - north shore beaches in CA, center of Alpine Village Very clean Property managers were very responsive (their app has all the property info you need including the code for the garage)

Incline to Recline
Incline Village in North shore Tahoe is a super place to vacation. This Vrbo home was clean, and well-stocked with the basics. The kitchen was awesome. It was pretty hot, and they had several fans available. Thanks for that. Avant- stay was right on it if we needed anything. I didn’t read all the information they sent me, and had to call for the garage code., and tv code. They were so nice! The only thing that would keep me from staying here again is the many, many stairs!! This home is on a hillside. Steep driveway, stairs to main floor, and stairs to Master and tv room. We’re in our late 60’s and early 70’s. We both lost weight after this vacation!!! Lol! There was laundry available in the garage. Up and down constantly.. But, what fun we had!! Perfect, large table available for family games.
