Luxury Chateau D'Renaitre Long Term 6 month minimum Lease
Tucked into the hills of Carmel Valley just a little more than 3 miles from the ocean, Tehama is an invitation-only 2,000 acre development by actor and resident Clint Eastwood that is arguably the most private and exclusive enclave in the Monterey Peninsula. Known for maintaining a unique balance of exquisite properties, open land, stunning views, and abundant wildlife, it is an experience only a select few get to share.
Renaître (French for “to be reborn”) is a 14,000 square foot secluded highland estate perched 900 feet high above the verdant hills, which exemplifies the term “world class” and is a resort unto itself. The 5 year old, master craftsman residence and guest cottage can accommodate up to 18 guests with its 7 bedrooms (the small upstairs study can be converted to an 8th bedroom) in unmatched style, comfort, and elegance. With the option to also have access to the live-in house manager and chef, Renaître is a luxury vacation destination literally and figuratively above the rest, offering myriad top-shelf amenities and proximity to local attractions, combined with a level of seclusion and privacy not often available elsewhere.

Visit the The Lone Cypress, a Monterey cypress tree standing on a granite hillside off the 17-Mile Drive. The tree is a Western icon, and has been called one of the most photographed trees in North America. It is located between Cypress Point Golf Course and the Pebble Beach Golf Links. Possibly as old as 250 years, the cypress has been scarred by fire and has been held in place with cables for 65 years. The Monterey cypress grows naturally only in Pebble Beach and Point Lobos.
A drawing of the tree was registered as Pebble Beach Company's trademark in 1919. The company said the trademark protected not only the logo but also the tree itself.

The Carmel Mission has been designated a National Historic Landmark by the National Park Service and is an active Roman Catholic Church, holding mass on a daily basis. In addition to mass, the Mission hosts weddings, art and cultural events, and numerous other Carmel community events.

Perfect location for Executive offsite
We used the home for a 2 night executive retreat for 8 executives and it couldn’t have been better. The home and property were spectacular. There were many spaces perfect for collaborative working and thinking. The home was stocked with everything you could think of. I’d rent this home again for a corporate event or personal!

We have a group of old friends that we book a house with each year. We all loved this house, and can’t wait to come back.

Very nice property with outstanding views
The house is extremely nice and fit our whole family who were attending a wedding. The house itself had more room than we needed, but the family was very excited that I had treated them to this 5 star retreat. At Tehama, you are above the coastal clouds, so the weather is outstanding. I can definitely say, we would stay there again.

Stunning property with very helpful managers!
I can’t recommend this property highly enough. The house is absolutely beautiful, with a great view and lots to do. It’s also very well appointed for a comfortable stay. The property and neighborhood are very private, but only a short drive away from downtown Carmel and Monterey. The Luxe Vaca team is also wonderful—they were very flexible, responsive, and helpful as we planned our stay as well as during our time on site. Would definitely recommend Chateau D’Renaitre to anyone interested. We can’t wait to get back there ourselves! We rented this property for a relaxing time away with family coming from all over the US. Everyone had no problem finding their way from SFO (~3-hour drive). The house comfortably slept 17 adults and 3 little ones. The babies had enough space that the parents were comfortable and others slept well. Everyone could keep their own sleeping hours without disrupting anyone else. There are plenty of amenities to make outdoor time very comfortable, even when it got chilly in the evenings. The pool, spas and back patio are gorgeous, with incredible views sweeping down to the ocean. There’s also a firepit at which to gather, and the cabana has a heated floor and fireplace. We enjoyed dinners on the cabana with a view of the sunset. For indoor time, the gym, ping pong table, pool table, and movie theater were fantastic. We had Chef Moises come to the house one night to prepare dinner, and the food was excellent. He was very professional and his meal received many compliments from the guests. We worked with Zorka Aguilar to plan this and various other parts of our stay. She was always very responsive and patient and easygoing in accommodating our requests. Olivia, the property manager, acquainted us with the controls for the house. She is also very responsive if any questions come up during the stay. It’s also worth mentioning that the kitchen is well appointed for cooking in. We brought some groceries, but there are plenty of dishes and anything you might require to cook and serve. There were also plenty of spices, condiments, tea/coffee, etc. All in all, a great stay!

If This Was The Last Family Gathering, We Departed In Glory
Secluded location monitored by security guards, deer, lizards, quail and a mountain lion. Fantastic structural building with complex bells and whistles that confused grandparents, but were only a minor challenge for younger generations. Glorious pool that provided entertainment both day and night. Cooperative management team. Would highly recommend to others.
