Really comfortable stay. Excellent choice for breakfast and really tasty. Room was nice and spacious, comfortable bed, good shower and clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and service was good. Small safe car park. Nice walk through the park into Cardiff town centre. Would stay again if in the area.

A bit expensive but expected with the speedway Grand prix. Very comfortable and the best breakfast i think ive had. Friendly staff would definitely stay again.

A very friendly and helpful proprietor. Steered us towards an excellent Italian restaurant and helped us to fit in our need to change before a wedding. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom ,although small, was clean, modern and had a good shower. However, the other furniture in the room was rather old and battered which let the room down.

The woman at front desk was unbelievably rude and asking for the smallest things was such an inconvenience to her. There were some previous guests’ rubbish left in the drawer. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Hotel itself was lovely. However Expedia advertise the property with free parking, which is essentially false advertising. What they don't tell you is that there are very limited spaces available on a first come first served basis - and when it's busy for events in the area you can expect to drive around for an hour or more to find somewhere to park a 10-15 minute walk away at best. So we were let down massively by Expedia here. They should have used the information as per the hotel website. We would not have booked this hotel had we known that parking would not be available.

Please, don’t book this hotel or hotels.com
Please,please don’t book this hotel! I deem this site and the hotel to be false advertising. The room i booked was for a king sized four poster bed for £479.00 the room in the photos looked amazing. However the room we were given was anything but amazing, small, dirty and no king sized bed. We queried this the manager we said it was he was rude and unprofessional. We were over charged by over £304, as we did get the room as advertised On the plus side the bed was a Hypnos Base. But mattress was well worn. The bathroom was new and clean which is the only good thing I can say regarding this hotel.
