Located right opposite the magnificent Abbey in the historic riverside village of Tintern, it lies within the original Abbey curtilage. Tintern itself is within the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and has pubs, restaurants, cafés and craft shops, children’s play area, a convenience store, vineyard, and a brewery all within a few minutes’ walk. Enjoy locally produced ice cream, cheese, and home cooked food at the local eateries. There is a monthly local produce market in the village.
Locally, explore dramatic Chepstow or Raglan castles, make your own craft gin at the distillery, hire a bike, go horseracing, or try fishing, canoeing or a thrilling zipwire!
