The room was spacious and comfortable, though a bit cold at night. I would have liked better cleanliness, as we found some hairs in the shower, dirty water trails on the bath and even a piece of broken gold chain on the floor. I'm not sure the cleaning service did the bathrooms or floor, and the moldy silicone on the bath made it look old an unattended. Not the worst for one night, but there is definitely room from improvement. I know many customers who would find this level of cleanliness quite unacceptable. The staff was really friendly and made things easy and smooth. Great location and parking was definitely worth it. With very few modifications, this hotel could very easily had been five stars, but hygiene needs to improve urgently.

The room was spacious and clean. We did not know about the height restriction for parking, but we found a space nearby. We loved the location - just a few minutes walk to the Cite. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but there looked to be everything you'd need. We liked that there was a TV in the lounge and also in the bedroom. This was a stopover for one night but we could have stayed much longer. The price was great value for a property with self catering facilities so close to the Cite.

+ Good location to walk to the cite or the castle + Relatively quiet + Decent size apartment with seating area/crockery/cutlery/microwave + Bathroom with towels, hairdryer, soap and hot water + Bedroom was ok in size with wardrobe, safe and bedlinen - Some bed linen had stains and the bed was pretty uncomfortable - No cleaning material or dish cloths in the kitchen (but one can purchase for 5 Euro) - No kettle or coffee/tea - so please bring your own - We broken car window/glass right in front of the hotel - so you might want to spend the extra money for a secure parking space if you travel by car Option to purchase breakfast at an extra charge - we didnt use it, so cannot comment.

The ironically named Adonis hotel...

See photos... Air conditioning was faulty (in almost 40 degree heat) - reported to reception but nothing was done Bed looked like a crime scene Sheets were stained Window was faulty and would not open Door handle was loose Bathroom was dirty and there were hairs from previous tenants Ended up leaving at 3:30am due to the broken air conditioning finally giving up and leaking everywhere but there was nowhere to leave the key card so we had to just shove it under the hotel's front door

GREAT LOCATION, GOOD PRICE, SECURE PARKING

This apart hotel is ok for a one or two night stay. We had a one bed apartment with a stove top and microwave but no kettle or coffee making facilities. The decor is tired but clean. No plug for bath. Shower just ok but bath would need a mat in for showering as slippery and curved. The receptionist was nice spoke good english and was helpful. It is a great location for visiting the Cite du Carcassonne which it is right beside. Just down the road cross the bridge is a short walk into Carcassonne itself. The location and price are great. Also the secure parking is very good on site.

We got to the premises around 1:45pm. The place was closed, there was no way to leave our luggage. We left the place, returned later, but due to this situation we missed the castle entrance deadline. Wasted trip.

Carcassone city break

The apartment was spacious. 1 bedroom, and sofa bed in living/kitchen area. Very clean and great air-conditioning. Kitchen/cooking area was basic but adequate for a short stay. Reception was welcoming and spacious. Staff were very pleasant and nothing was any bother. Breakfast was self service with good choices of cheese, bread and pastries. Parking was reasonable at 10 euros per night in a secure under building car park. The hotel was very close to the "old city" and the city centre. Both within easy walking distance.

Self catering in a fabulous location.

In a fabulous location, right next to the walled town. Accommodation basic but had everything you needed for a short stay. We were able to borrow a kettle and use the laundry facilities. Cooking facilities not very good and reception closed between 12 and 3 so no check in during these times. Reception staff helpful but limited language. Parking available at extra cost.

This is a great choice for Cite. It’s crazy cheap new building. Cheap furniture but pretty clean spacious. Breakfast is 3 euro it is same as 11 Euro breakfast. Coffee machine. Great valley. Next to la Cite. A bit harder to go into town
