The room smelled damp. Even after opening the windows and subsequently using the AC the smell remained and condensation on the inside of the large picture windows. The carpet was dirty and left the bottom of our feet black, make sure you wear slippers. We didn't waste our time mentioning this to management after the unconcerned/ unhelpful attitude we had encountered already over a noise issue with the fridge which my husband has already put a review on trip adviser about and to which the Manager responded saying we had been offered a replacement which was not true. No replacement was offered.

Easy check in, room clean, size good, parking easy and location is very convenient. They have a heated pool but it was raining so we didn't use it. I'd stay here again for sure!

Wonderful weekend
We had a great time at Cape Colony. Everything was clean and convenient. The staff was fantastic, accommodating, friendly and helpful. We loved the fire pit at night, the convenient location...everything. We had a great weekend with a large family group.

Motel style property a pleasant 20 minute walk from the main downtown area. Clean and spacious twin bedroom. Breakfast choices were not particularly imaginative but adequate. Good value for the price we paid given other very expensive options nearby.

Location was perfect. Only draw back was the washing location for the housekeeping of the hotel was in my same building. The floors were vibrating. Laying in bed you would feel the vibration. Kind of made you nauseous

It is so quiet here. NO loud talkers, no loud traffic, no noise... all i heard was wind rustling the leaves and crickets at night. Wish it was a little closer to the center of town but that would bring more noise, so its a convenient compromise.
