"This hotel is located right in the heart of Malaga. It’s directly next-door to the church where Pablo Picasso was baptized. I could see the tower from my hotel room window. Alcazaba fortress, the Roman Theatre, the Picasso Museum (as Malaga is his birthplace), the Malaga Cathedral and the Castillo de Gibralfaro are all within a 4-10 minute walk. "

"To start with the postives the check in was great . The breakfast server was great . The hotel is in a good location very near to everything. We had a 'junior suite " with a city view. The view looked out onto a building site and main road . The room was very cold we asked staff if they could do anything about it to which we were told no as the maintenance person would not be there until the next day . The walls in the room were all marked and really needed decorating. The furnishings looked like they had seem better days .The room was advertised as having a mini bar which in fact was a empty fridge apart from some unidentified possibly food matter that had been left behind ( photo below). When we told the reception staff they told us not to touch it ...we had no intention of !. Having stayed in other hotels in Malaga this hotel was a poor standard in comparison. "

"I loved this place. After my review I’ll probably never be able to get a free room/capsule again. Normally I don’t read reviews and if I do I don’t take them on fully and this time I’m glad I didn’t. I booked one night and stayed four. Great value and low season also. The area is fab. Bus straight from airport through Malaga and 4 mins walk and you are there. The staff were lovely and always busy working. I had read something about check in taking a long time but eh they checked me in and showed me around bringing me to my capsule room and showed me how to use key etc. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and I never got this treatment. The place is spotless and the cleaners are always busy. The showers were fab and the selection of shampoo and body wash would put the Ritz and Hilton hotel to shame. Now loved the heated toilet seat in the room, The radio on the mirror if you are taken a shower, the kitchen and games area was also super. Loved the meat restaurant across the road on the corner. Pricy but fabulous. I went with 2 starters and the roasted potato was huge. There were great offers also for jacuzzi time celebrating birthdays etc on there premises. The bed was a little thin, hard but you can get that at any hotel, it’s their choice of mattress but loved the Netflix availability. "
