A detail of everything you will find in our rural houses. We are convinced that you will like them. Casas Rurales El Torreón are located in the historic town of Caleruega, founded in the 10th century and the birthplace of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, founder of the Dominican Order and the Holy Rosary.
Our houses are made of stone and wood following the Castilian style, bright and cozy, so that your stay in Ribera del Duero is an unforgettable memory, for its history, its unique gastronomy and especially its people.
Torreón I and II are recently built houses, independent and with capacity for 8 people plus 2 extra beds in each house.
They are located within the urban area of Caleruega, in the best area of the town, surrounded by houses that are particularly unique for their design and construction and with magnificent views.
Each rural house has:
a large living room with fireplace fully furnished, equipped with flat TV, DVD player and board games.
fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and all necessary utensils.
4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom on the lower floor adapted for people with reduced mobility and 3 bedrooms with 3 en-suite bathrooms on the upper floor to provide comfort and privacy, with quality materials and original designs that will surely they will love it.

The houses have central heating, bedding, towels, baby crib and are equipped with solid wood furniture to give the utmost warmth and well-being to our clients during their stay.

You cannot miss visiting what has given our Rural Houses its name: The Torreón de los Guzmánez, located inside the cloister of the Dominican Fathers Monastery, as well as the Caleruega winery where Beata Juana (mother of Santo Domingo de Guzmán), performed the miracle of turning water into wine.
Church of San Sebastián where Santo Domingo de Guzmán was baptized, and said font is located in the Royal Palace where only royalty is baptized.
Dominican Mothers Monastery (Cloistered Mothers). There you can visit its Cloister and its museum where sculptures and paintings of relevant artistic value are treasured, as well as the Church where Santo Domingo de Guzmán was born, to whom the Virgin of the Rosary gave the Rosary. In this church is the "pocito" where you can taste its miraculous water.
