It’s part of a beautiful Peak District retreat which is spread across 12 acres of National Park with stunning views. The cottage is spread across two floors. There is an open-plan living and dining downstairs with underfloor heating. Upstairs there is a double and single bedroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and there’s a private south-facing patio. Critchlow Cottage is part of the Wheeldon Trees Cottages retreat nestled under High Wheeldon. The retreat has an honesty shop, laundry room, children's play area, The White Company toiletries in every bathroom, free EV charging, its own roasted High Wheeldon Rising fresh coffee, super-fast zooming and free electric bikes for guests to borrow.

Wonderful cottage
The accommodation was superb. Very clean and the hosts had thought of everything. We even got a lovely bag of goodies on arrival. It was absolutely fabulous.
