The location and set out was really lovely but tired in a lot of places …unit very noisey due to fridge going on and off 24/7 and the unit in the roof continue noice ,shower window would not close made early morning shower chilly due to eco ness shower was only just warm summer fine winter no so added to the open window breezes of discomfort .couch corners not vacuumed in a long time …small things I know but they added up ..eye for detail when servicing makes a big difference.We were told no alcohol to be drunk in the unit ..that’s a bit tough after a long hours on the road to get there …but there were wine glasses …were they used ….

This property was most likely THE spot back on the day. It’s nice and has a tropical resort feel but it’s feeling very dated. I was super disappointed that the hot tub was not working (no heat) - since it is directly connected to the pool it was cold. But, the room AC was good so we slept well. Having the kitchen area was nice too. Bathroom and toilet room were very small.

Good place, but bad wifi.
Good place to stay long term, but my only gripe is that the wifi is terrible. The last time I stayed here a few months ago they were trying to improve this, but it’s obvious that they still need to improve this

So glad we found this place as there isn’t much in Bundaberg. We only had one night there but loved it. This place is a gem. Just a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach. The little unit was lovely and I loved the jungle feel of the place. I wish we had one more night there as it’s very relaxing. The restaurant was extremely good. Just wish they had breakfast there.

Property was lovely, nice place at an affordable price. Reception were lovely. Pool facilities clean. Accommodation had all utensils that were required. Unfortunately we had some horrible neighbours in the cottage next to us who woke us with them screaming at each other. Obviously nothing to do with the property itself as they can not predict people doing that.

Very good value. Staff helpful and pleasant, accomodating around late arrival. I didn’t love the loft arrangement - it was unpleasantly hot up there unless aircon on constantly. Easy to imagine kids falling. (The loft is clearly visible on booking) Convenient to the Mon Repos turtle centre which is great because if you are in a later group you might be getting in well after bedtime!

Really friendly staff on reception despite it being busy. The pool was a comfortable temperature. Cars park under cover, safe from sun and hail. The villa was perfectly clean and welcoming. Very hard to keep the villa cool though.

What are the options….
The outstanding feature of this resort is its site. It can be brought back to glory with creative ideas, refreshed gardens and general tender loving care. Letting it slip away further will end up with a total redevelopment.
