The property was nasty. The carpets have not been shampooed in probably 3 to 4 years. The bids need to be thrown out the plumbing leaked all over the floor. The room smell smelled of marijuana. I would like all my money back. I would never stay there again. PS The pool was filthy murky and the hot tub had suds in the hot tub like somebody was bathing in it for the whole four days I was there

the hot tub was closed , had a king suite that did not match pictures and was very small and dated. mattress felt like coils were ready to pop out. the couch was horrible and the table was actually 2 separate small tables put together. oh ya and the heater for the room sonded like a vacuum left on.The sitting counter at the cooking area was about 2 feet high. other than that it was a great place . and the security latch on my door was missing half its parts. and there still more now that i think about it .....come on Hawthorn suites get your act together or find a new business. Disguisting you want big $$$$ put not provide a good service ! please forward this to there corporate office so i dont get a b.s. response from this hotels manager .....like i did when i made my review of my stay at the sheridan resort in puerto vallarta

Great location
Great hotel for a family shopping trip. Was nice to have the little kitchen. Room was clean, breakfast was as expected (waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes). Location is great for cross border shopping. Pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. Staff was helpful, we had a few small requests and they responded quickly.

I rented out two rooms. Both rooms has broken things in it. One of the bedrooms has a broken lamp, broken drawer for the dresser, and the trim on the doors going into the bedroom fell off and hit me in the head. 2nd bedroom had a crack in the fridge and the door going into the bedroom was missing the bottom of the door. Both rooms the wallpaper was peeling off. My children and guests got a bacterial infection from the pool and hot tub. Management didnt care when i brought this to their attention. Had to get erie county health department involved. Dont stay here.

It was unfortunate that the pool was unavailable for my trip, being two years in a row. The room did not have enough dishes or cutlery. We had booked for 5 people and there was only enough for 3. The front desk staff told us they could only give us plastic cutlery and additional paper plates. The location is great for our purposes, but the property needs some updating.

The room was not good for guests at all. The blind was damaged and heat thermostat wasn’t working. I heard fire alarm was ringing middle of night but the front desk didn’t answer the phone. So I worried what happened. Some time later, the fire alarm stopped but nobody explained to me what was going on. The toilet flush didn’t working well. In the morning, somebody knocked on door and forced me to get out of the room because there was water leaking from upstairs room. I asked if I stayed until the check out time but he said I had to get out right away. So I rushed packing and got out. Everything was so wrong with the hotel.

We walked into our room and found the bedroom door off the hinges, a broken lamp and dirty hand towels hanging from the shower rod. One of the beds was sagging in the middle. The pool area was too dim.
