We had such a lovely stay here! The cottages are adorable, with great amenities. Definitely a step above other cottage hotels that we stayed in. And this property has the added benefit of a lovely little restaurant for dinners and a great hearty breakfast. (The dinners were Ala carte but the breakfast was included in our room rate). The owner and her staff were truly lovely and you could see the care that went into the property. A great option in this area!

We went for some down time and we were not disappointed. Beautiful room with view of Icelandic countryside; lovely restaurant with great food; pleasant, helpful staff. Not for those who want to be in the hub of things, but if you’re looking for a quiet getaway to be alone with your thoughts or your partner, this is the place :)

Absolutely stabbing Mountain View’s, excellent kitchen and dining experience! Gurdrid is amazing host and her place is impeccably clean, friendly and offers so much for mountain hiking, enjoying nature, views to the fjords and quiet countryside that is filled with moments of peace and love. Easy access to many tourist destinations but also provides great retreat from crowds for relaxing night. Great beds and highly quality mattress and pillows let you recover and enjoy! Highly recommend and would love to come back and stay longer.
