"Our stay at Lakehaven cottage in Buckeye Lake, Ohio has been THE BEST VRBO experience ever. Here, they treat you like you are family. We were welcomed with the softest homemade cookies, perfect buckeye treats and a Happy Birthday balloon as we were celebrating a birthday during our stay. The beds are comfortable with ample blankets. They had all the toiletries we could have needed. Laundry soap and stain remover were provided. The hottub was perfect. We loved playing air hockeye too. The fenced in yard worked well for our furbaby. We loved walking to the local brewery, restaurants and to see the lake and fountain. We also loved relaxing by the propane fire pit outdoors. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. I am certainly planning to return and for a longer stay. "

"VRBO next to Buckeye Lake State Park / right by the lake. The house was VERY cute and cozy. I loved the balconies; I ate out on the balcony every meal. Great location for photography which is why I came. Owner available, welcoming, and very helpful with answering questions. I enjoyed taking pictures of wildlife and nature. Also, I rented a bike from the Boat House. The house was spacious enough so that I could use my yoga mat. Creno's Pizza nearby - absolutely yummy. I enjoyed reading time as well. Mostly, I appreciate that the owner stated on the written info. in the house that the area was not for parties, but for peace and relaxation! If I had to be really picky I would say that the refrigerator and pan for oven and bedroom lamp should have been cleaned better. Also, scissors to open things in kitchen and a box of kleenex would have been helpful (or maybe these items were available and I just couldn't find them). Overall, I am really glad that I came and have recommended this VRBO to others! A short vacation that I will remember forever! "
