This is an excellent hotel! It’s less than a 5 min walk to Grand Place, which is the center of downtown, but located down a side street so it’s quiet at night. I was there on a very busy weekend in August and my room faced the street and it was still quiet. Front desk staff are welcoming and helpful, especially Sarah. The room was meticulously clean. I would happily stay here again!

Great Home Base in Brussels
We had a lovely 4 night stay recently at the Alma Grand Place and happy with our decision. We loved how well located it was to the central train station (10 Min. Walk), Grand Place, lots of shops and restaurants yet on a quiet side street. Upon arrival, Ava was very delightful, accommodating and helpful to us. We enjoyed our spacious and comfortable room with nice view very much. Thanks Ava! Breakfast was good every morning, not fancy but enough choices. We recommend Alma to anyone traveling to Brussels. It is a great home base to travel to Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp for day trips. Also it is a good value and deserves a higher rating.

Excellent hotel. Conveniently placed close to the Grand Place. Ewa provided us with a wonderful welcome and with lots of knowledge about where to go in Brussels. Great rooms - very comfortable beds and we all had good nights sleep. We would thoroughly recommend Alma Grand Place to anyone. A big thank you to Ewa and all the reception staff.

Great option for families with teens
The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very complete and tasty. The staff was very accommodating (we asked for a second desk chair and it was delivered quickly). We got a family room with an internal spiral staircase to an upper room. The configuration is perfect for families traveling with teens who "need their space" but parents still want them close-ish to make sure they wake up on time. The suspended staircase wasn't the most stable, but we managed. Great location close to shopping (and DIY laundry! - no service in the hotel) and many of the main sites.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We received an upgraded newer room with a beautiful view. Loved the exposed beans, the location and room the view! It was amazing quiet, even on a Monday morning with the window open.

Average hotel in City Centre
The stay was Okay I would say. The reason why I think that the stay was average is because of cleaning. Everything looked to be cleaned, but if you started to look around, you could see how dirty bathroom is. The walls haven’t been touched for a long time, especially in the shower. The tap and the sink have been cleaned on a surface, with lots of dirt and stain around. The swim with the toilet. Carpets in the rooms is super bad idea, because you can’t walk there barefoot. It’s dirty and you can see that. The stuff at reception was friendly and always cheering. Gave us lots of ideas where to go in the city or what to eat.
