Excellent large family rooms, walkable to the town center, with a swimming pool and a carpark close by, it was a great hotel for a short stay in Brugge.

Superb hotel.
We loved Grand Normandy Hotel. The lobby is great as there is a connect 4 and chess board while waiting. There is a bar with a good range of drinks as well, and the staff are incredibly helpful and positive. The breakfast is magic. Best hotel breakfast I've had in Europe. Nice touch with the free sweets in and around the hotel and the complimentary biscuits when we left. The swimming pool is warm and there are plenty of towels and loungers. We will definitely be back to Bruges and the Grand Normandy!

We liked the fact that the hotel was away from the busy old town but close enough to walk there in 15 minutes or so. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fine, the decor was a little dated and the furniture needed updating, but all in all it was very comfortable and fine for what we wanted.

Royal Normandy hotel, Bruges
Lovely hotel. Beautiful room. Super clean. Bed was so comfy and it was nice and quiet, 10 mins walk from centre so we got a great sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a pool and small gym, though we didn't use them. Would stay here again. Would have liked more breakfast teabags in room. And milk rather than cream would have been better for tea. But this is just an English thing!

Pretty good
Just a short walk outside Bruges center, room was nice and decent size. Bathroom was good but the soap dispenser kept falling off the wall. The sheets on the king bed were too small and would roll off every time we laid on the bed. That was annoying. AC worked like a charm. Breakfast was fantastic. Wish the coffee machine was 24/7 though.
