Fin placering ved Kongeåen
Nem indcheckning via adgangskode til døren. Hotellet ser lidt slidt ud - men værelset var pænt og rent og badeværelset var fint. Der var adgang til fjernsynsstue forsynet med AppleTV - her havde en brugervejledning været en god hjælp. Vi fik en meget lækker morgenmad og fik også hilst på ejerens brune labrador, som var meget sød. Vi havde selv vores brune labrador med på turen - og på grund af højvande i Kongeåen var stien ikke egnet til hundeluftning. Kan i stedet anbefale en gåtur i Åtte bjerge med en smuk udsigt fra Flaghøj.

Gammelt hotel uden bemanding aften og nat. Meget støj fra landevejen dom går lige forbi hotellet. Udmærket værelse men ellers ikke noget positivt at sige

Kroen var forfalden og problemer med trafik støj. Billed fra deres opslag stemmer overhovedet ikke ens med selve hotellet. Vores vurdering er at prisen på dette ophold er alt for høj set ifht andre gode oplevelser til mindre pris.

Der står kro og restaurant, men vi kunne ikke gå aftensmad, ham henviste os til Ribe 20 km væk. TV stod i lille rum udenfor værelset. Gardinerne meget støvet. Kun en stol på værelset. Morgenmad tilkøbes for 125kr pr person, og det var ikke pengene værd. Generelt var det al for dyrt og nusset/beskidt/slidt. Kommer ikke igen.

Kroen - komforten - værelserne svarer til prisen. Men priserne på f. eks kaffe - vand -øl - vin er alt for høje, 40 kr for en kop kaffe er for meget. På cafe i Brørup koster 2 kaffe med 2 kager 50 kr. ialt. Så der blev ikke købt ekstra af os.

Dårlig oplevelse
Noget primitiv og gammeldags værelse. Intet TV og ingen hårtørrer. Man måtte ikke have drikkevarer på værelset, der ikke var købt på hotellets bar. Vi kunne ikke spise i hotellets restaurant om aftenen, da det var optaget til anden side, men blev anvist at tage til Ribe 20 km. væk eller benytte den lokale pølsevogn. Morgenmaden noget sparsom. Det anbefales at tage hårshampoo med selv.
