The property looked good but the room lighting was very difficult to operate. The shower had no screen and water spread right across the floor to the toilet. The dining menu was very limited and the one evening meal we had was appalling. There was one cereal on the breakfast menu and it was not available. No fruit.

This place has a nice vibe despite its dated exterior in some parts. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable. And a number of food options close by. Would stay here again.

Typical Australian holiday hotel. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was adequate. Grounds were very well maintained. Did not use the pools but they looked inviting. Location is nothing special. If you are expecting views of Roebuck Bay look elsewhere.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Continental it is an older style property that is being brought back to life. We had a new refurbished room which was lovely although a little small. The grounds around the hotel are lovely, although the pool area needs some maintenance. Simple things like some rubbish bins round the pool, cleaning the water line and a shower near the pool would help. The staff were fantastic, helpful and really friendly. The small hotel gym was perfect for a basic workout. The hotel was lovely and peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break.

Our room was right at the back as we are in our eighties we found it hard to walk back and forth about six or more times a day I asked to change rooms and was put closer to the restaurant which we used all the time,if we stayed at the back of the hotel we would not have used the restaurant at all
