This place never disappoints in any way I have stayed here for the last 12 months the rooms are excellent and the bar and the hospitality of the all the staff is second to none
I stayed at The Hanbury Turn for two days whilst working in the area. Staff really friendly, very clean rooms, great pub with a good choice of beers. Will definitely be staying there again.
We only had one night to stay here attending a nearby wedding - but LOVED it at Hanbury and are thankful to the amazing staff. It was a nice, clean room with everything we needed. Plus, the rooms are right above the pub so it's a fun place to stay - while still quiet and relaxing in the room.
Didn’t get much chance to really enjoy the accommodations or the pub itself. Due to an accident on the motorway, we arrived later than hoped and had to rush out as soon as we arrived to attend a wedding. But the room was great. Clean and well equipped and the reception was good. Would use again.
Great location, easy to find, lots of parking available, superb accommodation, quiet and very clean. Quiz night - Tuesday, brilliant. Paid for wonderful breakfast. Fantastic choice of real ales.
Comfortable room. warm welcome. there is no restaurant so you have to travel to eat. You can get breakfast there but only in very limited time slot (9am - 10am)
We stayed in the grasshopper room on saturday 10th sept 2022 as we were attending a wedding reception nearby. The pub was lovely and the staff we interacted with were very kind. Our twin room was well presented and very clean. The disappointment later was the fact that we could not get any sleep and we ended up leaving the property the very early hours of Sunday morning. Outside our bedroom window there was a large fan that could be heard and our room also had a locked doorway/large cupboard that we can only imagine had some sort of booler system in there, which was also very noisy. Such a shame really, these two issues point a dampner on the stay.
What a lovely place to stay. Lovely room, very comfortable bed. Very clean, absolutely nothing to complain about. The landlord and staff were very pleasant any chatty. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. Would we come here again? Absolutely without a doubt.
Very friendly staff , room although small was perfect for a weekend and lovely and clean . Nothing was too much trouble would definitely stay here again
The rooms were new and clean however the plumbing in the bathrooms wasn’t good so any time any one turned on the tap there was a loud vibrating sound. This came from the other rooms as well. Also do not stay on a Tuesday if you want any sleep. We were not informed of a pub quiz which finished at 11:30pm which included a very loud music round and speaker system. I had to ring downstairs to ask when the music would finish and was not very impressed with how my complaint was handled. Would not stay again.
Newly appointed room very clean, good size bathroom with big walk in shower. The bedroom was to the rear of the pub so away from traffic noise. Great choice of real ales/ beers etc no hot food at night but there are plenty takeaway/delivery options locally. Cooked breakfast is available , the owner and staff which i had contact with were very friendly and helpful. I stayed on a Tuesday evening and there was a quiz night on it was quite busy and a nice atmosphere
The welcome on arrival was one of the best welcomes we've ever experienced. Friendly with engaging conversation.
The room was comfortatble and warm. Breakfast was great.
this was an overall top stay and would stay here again.
