Enjoyed our second visit to Lond Bay. Can't beat the views and beach. From sun up to sun set you can't beat the experience. Staff is also very friendly.
Great place to stay relaxation, good food and beautiful grounds. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel right on the beach. Beautiful location
I went there with my daughter for rest and relaxation. That is exactly what we got. Not a lot going on, but it is the slow season... very peaceful setting.
The staff, views, and beach was all great. The rooms are basic but have amazing views! It is a super peaceful place and I hope to return one day.

Comfortable room next to the beach.
Most staff lacking in basic hospitality skills. A few hotel staff (activities desk/conceriage) lied to us regarding local restaurants and grocery shopping options. Getting around is very difficult and walking on roads is risky.
All guests needs are different. We are low maintenance campers. Our experience was tainted by being lied to and we felt like we were a bother. Requesting ice, water(paying extra) & tea bags seem to be too much to ask for even at the high rate we paid to stay at this property.
We won't be repeat guests at Long Bay Beach Club.

Rooms could use some new furniture and fresh paint
Dinner was great. Unbelievably good! Buffet breakfast was terrible on Saturday morning and staff was unfriendly. It was 1 hour late opening then NO eggs. The cook wasn't ready. NO pancakes until a large local family arrived-then pancakes were offered. Fried eggs under cooked.
Only 30' from your door to the water. Nicely appointed room with kitchenette and small deck. Need car to go to restaurants unless you cook in or eat on site at their restaurant or at "Fusion" next door. Food is good everywhere but pricey. Hairpin turns are challenging to say the least!! All beaches are beautiful but snorkeling was disappointing. Reefs are dying. Bring earplugs to drown out roosters early in the am.
We stayed there 3 nights. The weather was bad but we cannot complain on anything at the hotel. The staff tried to make our stay enjoyable and remarkable. The location of the hotel is one of the best on the island. It is 15 minutes drive away from Soper's Hole and West End Ferry Terminal.
Had a great time food was fantastic. Right on the beach

Ocean full of rocks
A beautiful view of some of the Islands. My wife and I have traveled to more than a few Islands and we wanted to see the BVI. We were disappointed with the ocean at Long Bay, it may be Nature but the ROCKS In the ocean are awful, not able to get in at all. Somebody must mention this in a review, so future vacationers will know what to expect.
In need of minor repairs. Overbooked our beach side reservation and put us in room far from beach for first 2 nights. Gave us food credits but no break on room charge. Food at hotel was only fair quality, poor service and quite expensive.
Picked LBBC due to good reviews on Hotels.com. Selected a bungalow style room on the beach (room is raised on pilings with stairs leading up). Very charming. However, immediately noticed the aging condition of the bungalow. Bottom of the door to the room was rotting out. Door handle rusted and falling off. 1st time using the shower was an interesting experience. I thought I would fall through the floor, as the shower pan was sinking several inches in the front. The repair that had previously been performed (probably 10 times) was a simply caulk job. Separation between the fiberglass shower pan and wall surround was 2 inches, causing water to pool and not drain. I inspected the underside of the unit and discovered the plywood floor under the shower rotting away. I informed the staff but they were unable to move me because all other rooms were sold out. While out during the day, the maintenance person "fixed" the problem. The solution was to cut away a small section of the floor, replace the wood, lift the shower pan and re-caulk. Water still pooled in the shower. The water in every unit was out for several hours during one day. I came home in the evening to find the water out again for several hours. I complained to the front desk and was told that a manager would call. All she did was apologize but would not do anything to rectify the situation. After complaining, the entire staff was rude to me and my family the rest of the stay. I will not stay here again.

Beach was stunning!!
The location of this resort was perfect, beach amazing, clean. I know they are updating rooms as ours was an older one... Not as pictured on internet but sufficient. Thin walls:):). Could hear our neighbors. We would definitely stay again and we were right in the middle of the beach resort so our was very private And quiet where by the restaurant and the by the check in there were an few more people. Every day It felt like paradise and so safe. Easy to get to restaurants and sopers hole. Highly recommend this place. Thank you!!
We enjoyed our stay. The staff was accommodating though they were definitely on island time. There was one restaurant and it may or may not be opened when you need it and they may or may not have the food you order. The room overlooked a beautiful beach so you could spend much time on your balcony watching the waves roll in. If you're looking for laid back and quiet, this is your place. If you're looking for service and convenience, you'll be disappointed.

Great Place to Base Out Of
We had the beach cabana. LOVED the sound of the ocean at night. Private and right on the beach. Room was very clean. Some might want more luxury and the place could use some TLC. Safe was broken but we had no problem with safety. There is a small refrigerator. Flowers in the room on arrival is a nice touch. Coffee makers and blow dryers are also in the room. It's a bit deserted and quiet (which we liked). Pool is small but fine. Ocean is rough on this side of the Island so swimming might be sporty on windy days but the beach is long and beautiful. We ate at restaurant 1 night. Beautiful view and good (albeit pricey) lobster. Fusion restaurant next door is good and walking distance from Sebastians, D Coal Pot, and the Bomba Shack (over a hill). Also Sugar Mill. Hooking up with a good cab drive is critical (I recommend Eric). The hotel will call him and so will loca
This was our second year coming. We enjoyed our stay again.
We asked for Room 402 again and they accommodated. A beach front cabana. Plenty of space for us. The cabana was cleaned daily wonderfully by the staff. Bed was comfortable.
Quiet vacation spot. Not many on this Mile Long Beach. Just the way we like it.
Enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the resort restaurant with quite a lovely view. Reasonably priced.
We will be coming again next year.
