The property is a little dated but the staff were very helpful and the room was clean and well sized. The traffic noise was a small issue but overall a good economical option so close to the centre of town. I would stay again.

This is definitely an older property that has had some cosmetic touch-ups. It's well situated to the city with a bus running past. It is priced effectively for the age of the hotel and the staff service and friendliness make a huge difference to your experience

The front desk staff were excellent. Very helpful. They held our bags for us before check in and again after check out before we went to airport. The place was clean. Fairly basic room, but exactly what we needed. Beds were comfy. Shower was hot and pressure was good. Short walk from Central Train Station so very easy to get around Brisbane. Good value for money. The building itself looked a bit older, but the rooms had been renovated and everything inside was in good condition. I would happily stay there again. You can walk to the main Queen St shops in about 15 mins, and about 25 mins down to South Bank Plaza and the river. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Beware. The lift stops operating at 8pm and the expectation from staff is that one walks one flight of stairs. Impossible for some disabled people. Additionally there is a pull over locked gate used at the front of the property, preventing access to Reception, which is also in use from 8pm. Consequently, not a 24 hour access building. In the event of an evacuation being required overnight, anybody unable to walk stairs cannot leave. However, the room has a capsule coffee machine with two capsules provided, plus opening doors and windows, no grills, to a balcony.

WE WERE IN A ROOM ON THE ROADSIDE OF LITTLE EDWARD STREET AND IT WAS VERY NOISEY FOR US TO SLEEP. AFTER SURGERY IT WAS VERY HARD TO GET UP AND DRIVE HOME FOUR HOURS NORTH.
