Overall we enjoyed our stays at this hotel. Our only feedback would be in relation to the separation of the bathroom from the bedroom area. In the junior suite for example the full wall glass partition may not be to everyone’s liking due to the lack of privacy it provides. It is definitely an unusual design concept.
We liked the light up signage in the nearby alley when returning from Southbank at night. We liked the lady at check in who was most helpful and the onsite parking was ideal. The chef who made the omelets at breakfast on Sunday was super busy but still somehow managed to be polite and helpful. 👍
There was an extended delay in checking into breakfast which we did not expect. There was no body lotion in the dispenser which was unfortunate.
Overall I would recommend.
Great customer service. They upgraded my room and it was amazing. Food is 5 star!!! Will definitely book with them again.

I have two major issues with this property.
Firstly, it was extremely noisy from traffic on the street! Very poor insulation, sounded like the window was open - they need to address this by retrofitting better quality windows and insulation.
Secondly, the semi-bright floor-level lighting in the bathroom bleeds into the main sleeping area due to the open design - and worst of all, this light cannot be turned off by the guest! Incredibly poor room lighting design - I had to sleep with my eye mask on.
Overall I felt it was poor value and did not live up to the Novotel name and the price positioning of this particular property.
4-star hotel with Motel service, safety and comfort. Requested a cot which arrived later that night. The cot was so dirty it had blood and food residue on the cot mesh walls. The staff never replaced the toilet paper and no complimentary water or sanitary bags were offered.
The hotel claims it is family focused however other than some board games and access to some balls to use at the park there wasn’t much else. The park was also very dangerous as it was full of tents dodgy looking people.
Would not be returning here. It wasn’t even conveniently located!

Relaxing with a quiet beer on Sunday afternoon in the nice and quiet bar area but could not get something simple like a burger or a salad until 6pm.
