The first room I was put in was very dark, dirty, very broken down and looked and felt like nobody had stayed in that suite for many weeks. The sheets were dirty and bathroom was also dirty. I got put into another room which was brighter and cleaner, however it was on the side where the main road was and it was load due to people partying. I’m lucky I sleep like the dead. The manager at the time was accommodating and very quick to resolve the issue. However with Hyatt being a “nice, luxury” hotel you would expect better. I would not be staying here again as you’re really paying for the name. I do appreciate the management team for their efforts.
We liked the location, the room was spacious and clean. There were a good number of lifts. The amenities were good. Valet parking was great. Overall our guests and I were very happy.
Lovely hotel, great location in close walking distance to all the main sights of Brisbane. Really nice restaurant too and we loved the buffet breakfast each morning. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The reason I've given it a 4/5 is because our room was right at the end of the hotel next to the lift, and seemed to be near to where the waste water from other rooms on our floor flowed to, making it quite noisy through the night and early morning.
