Brighton stay

Good hotel, central and near station, with all the necessary facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Some intermittent, annoying street noise outside the hotel, but overall a very good stay.

Room was excellent, but shower had hairs in it. What would make it perfect, is either plug sockets or USB sockets at the sides of the bed

This is a budget hotel in need of major refurbishment. Due to the condition and the facilities available you feel as though you have been highly overcharged. I felt like I was staying in a hostel not a hotel. I was extremely disappointed on the service and condition of the hotel based on the price I paid. I will never stay there again!

First Time In Brighton

Bed nice and clean but a lot of long black hairs in bathroom (I’m blonde my husband is bald) glasses in bathroom and coffee cups on tray grubby but otherwise fine.

No parking or even waiting on street is the major disadvantage. You are less than 100 yards from Brighton station and buses stop right outside. Good base to do discover the City. Rooms are clean modern and well maintained. Didn't try food but there is no need as there are loads of food options within walking distance

Breakfast was disgusting on both mornings of my stay- egg was like rubber, mushrooms tasted bad, hash browns very soggy, bacon hard as rock, apples very bruised- Worst breakfast ever. Great staff though, let down by the very poor breakfast.

Great hotel

Very close to the station which is handy and only a stroll down to the beach front and pier. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comforting and breakfast buffet was very nice with various options to choose from. Would stay again.

This was my third stay at this property and I was disappointed this time around. I arrived at the property about 8 hours after the usual checking time of 3pm, the shower appeared not to have been cleaned as there was visible red fungus in the area where the plastic shower panels met, the body wash and shampoo recepticles were almost empty and three towels were on the bath room, two bath towels and one face towel, no shower mat. The next morning I reported this to the Front Desk and got additional towels there. We had used the mugs when we arrived and the next day we left the room for it to be cleaned, on returning the mugs were still there dirty and the floor was clearly not swept or mopped but the bed was made. I again complained to the Front Desk and apparently the cleaners were done for the day. The next day the room was finally cleaned, the fungus was gone from the shower, the floor was cleaned, the actually smelled clean. This was short lived as the next day the bed was roughly made up. After this I decided not to complain again, I don't think I will be staying there again as the level of service has clearly declined.
