I arrived late and just wanted to go to bed. Under the sheets , i found a spider which was surprising. I tried to call front desk to ask when was last time they changed the sheets and no response.

Our room smelled awful. Smelled like animal urine and food. Hallway smelled as well. Mold In grout on bathroom sink. We would have left but there was no vacancy for the night anywhere close and it was very late. Told Front desk in morning and they just said they would check it out. Didn’t seem to Concerned or apologetic. Would never stay here again.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE
My mother and I were traveling for my uncle's funeral and had drive 6 hours straight to the viewing and then on to the hotel. When we arrived, we were informed that they had "overbooked" and that our room was no longer available. We were assured by a particular unfriendly front desk clerk (Brett) that our entire stay would be covered at a near-by hotel. Once we arrived at that hotel we were informed that Candlewood had said they would only cover one night (although we had already paid for three). The situation escalated until the managers of both hotels had to be in touch. In the end, our payment was transferred, but only as a result of the manager at the new hotel (home2go - which is highly recommended), and after the awful, unprofessional experience at Candlewood. I absolutely do not recommend staying at this facility...or doing so with a back-up plan in mind in case you face the same experience.

This is my first stay at Candlewood Suites. It was better than expected. My only suggestion is for a better wuality coffee service in the rooms.
