Relax and recharge at this unique Bohemian sanctuary on Bowen Island complete with an electric cedar barrel sauna, wood-burning hot tub, 2 gas fire pits, and a sprawling lawn with open skies and peak-a-boo mountain views. Start your day with yoga and meditation, sink into the oversized Cloud couch and watch Netflix, take a 2-minute walk to the beach at Millers Landing, cook amazing meals on the gas range and BBQ, and fall asleep peacefully in the deluxe King beds to trees swaying in the breeze.

This property was crafted to be the perfect antidote to the stresses of the city and modern life. You can rest, relax, work, and chill as there are all the amenities for a 360 degree experience.

*FIRE BAN*
The wood-burning hot tub is only available for use October-April. During the summer months it is converted to a cold plunge due to a local fire ban.

THE PROPERTY
There is the Main House with 2 bedrooms + loft & office, Guest House with office, Outdoor Sauna Area with cold shower and gas fireplace, Wood-burning Hot Tub, and Gas Fire Pit.

THE MAIN HOUSE - step into the lower floor from the deck and you’ll be greeted by acid-washed concrete floors and reclaimed wood-beams with tall vaulted ceilings. The space plays to your mood as it can be a canvas for yoga, working-out, watching a movie, playing video games, cooking, or reading in front of the fire. Melt into the brand-new patina leather Cloud sectional by CouchHous and power up the TV over the candle-lit fireplace. Airplay a workout the using the Boho House iPad and hanging TRX straps. Get your inner Gordon Ramsey goin' and serve dinner to your guests using the Bertazzoni 36-inch propane range and Kamado Grill BBQ in your fully equipped kitchen.

Upstairs are two large bedrooms furnished with brand-new Indian rosewood furniture including King beds with deluxe mattresses and lush linens.
The first bedroom gets the morning sun and has a meditation loft which doubles as a place to sleep an extra person, find the Halfmoon meditation cushions next to the 55-inch wall mounted TV.
The second bedroom has vaulted ceilings, an exposed rock firewall, a California closet, and a separate office space with mountain views.
The property's only bathroom is located upstairs and is eagerly awaiting its next incarnation in the upcoming year.

The Main House was recently equipped with AC/Heating, and Hue ambiance lighting throughout that is controllable via Bluetooth.

THE GUEST HOUSE - cute and quiet, nestled in its own private part of the property is the studio which doubles as an office or extra kids bedroom. Find your workflow as the late afternoon sun streams through the windows and the breeze rolls through the open doors.

OUTDOOR SAUNA AREA - the newest addition to Boho House and undoubtable the best. One-click electric 10-foot western red cedar Barrel Sauna that fits 6 persons comfortably. Get it hot and steamy, up to 90 degrees celsius, with light water and essential oils. Step out and cool off in the cold waterfall shower, then chill out in the Adirondack chairs by the propane fireplace.

WOOD-BURNING HOT TUB - nothing feels more gratifying than a wood burning hot tub. Plan your spa day accordingly, as this process takes some love and grit as you feed the fire for 4-6 hours and let natural convection forces take its course until the temp is just right.

GAS FIRE PIT - fire up the propane pit, sit back in the Adirondack chairs with loved ones, and witness the stars away from the bright lights of the city... and why not make a s'more while you're at it!

Guests will have use of the entire property including the Main House, Guest House, and the Backyard including the Outdoor Sauna Area, Wood-burning Hot Tub, and Gas Fire Pit.

There is a locked warehouse and storage shed on the premises that is inaccessible to guests, as well as a locked closet in the Guest House.
Other things to note
Boho House is a new passion project being made with love. That said there are a few things that are still in progress:

The bathroom is looking for a facelift in 2023.
The oven broiler is currently not working, estimated repair late 2022.
The ice maker is currently not working, estimated repair time unknown.
The dining room chair upholstery has seen better days, estimated replacement 2023.

Please note that according to municipal bylaws, any noise has to be stopped at 10pm nightly. We regard respect for the neighbours with the upmost importance.
