Stayed here for 4 days I can truly say the hotel is amazing for what you pay. There is ample parking next to hotel and city centre and pier is short walk away- which is ideal if you have kids. Breakfast is amazing with lots of variety. Can’t wait to rebook when we revisit again

Double Trouble
Upon booking through hotels.com my payment was taken. A day later H by Hampton sent me a checking in email for a digital key, but as soon as I ‘checked in’ Hilton themselves charged me again. The girls behind the desk had no idea what to do, so then I had to spend a long time going through the issue with hotels.com…..it’s still not resolved and I’m awaiting a refund. To rub salt in the wounds the physical room key was coded wrong twice 🙈 so had to return back down to reception twice to get it sorted:…very frustrating when you want to relax after a day of travel and work. The positives now…..room was nice, clean and the air con worked well! Breakfast has always been good here and it didn’t disappoint. You will be charged upto £15 for parking so hear that in mind! It would have been nice to have someone there who could have dealt with the double payment straight away though.

The property is very clean, with nice rooms and a good breakfast selection. Plus, there is very safe parking if you have a car. It is a short walk to the beach area. Keep in mind that if you are travelling with old people or anybody who has difficulty walking, the hotel is on a hill.

Could use some help
I stayed for 3 nights and all was ok. 1st night was the best, second night the hotels smelled like marijuana through the ventilation, second night the fire alarm started going off at 3am and woke me up in the middle of the night. I had to call the front desk to turn the alarm off, and supposedly i had no AC/ or Heating from that point on.

Relaxing stay
Polite staff, and a comfortable room. My only issue, was when we arrived a parking charge was applied which cost us 13.50 overnight. This was an unplanned cost which i dont like.

A business trip during August to this busy seaside resort. Also it was the hottest day of the year whilst there. Comfortable room, good aircon (thankfully) and good facilities inc small gym. Staff friendly and helpful.
