NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW
Our home is situated in Whittier neighborhood - one of the most conveniently located neighborhoods in Boulder. Easy walk to the east end of the Pearl Street dining and entertainment corridor, which starts around 20th St and extends to 8th St. To the east is 5-10 minute walk to 29th St Mall, Dairy Center for Arts, McGuckins, Sprouts, REI, Trader Joe's. 10 min walk to the south is Boulder Creek and access to the endless Boulder bike paths system, across the creek is CU Folsom Stadium.
GETTING AROUND
Both Uber and Lyft are in Boulder.
We have two cruiser bikes - they are fun to ride on a path or go to the bar. If you need more than two - please use rent from the B-cycle network (closest station two blocks away), or go to a bike shop for full-day rents.
The main Boulder bus terminal downtown at 14th and Walnut is 8 blocks away; here you can catch a bus to the airport (DIA/Boulder Skyride route A/B). This is by far the fastest and cheapest way to get to and from the airport (~$10 one way).
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Great for families. We have lots to keep you entertained: books, board games, entertainment center with vintage vinyl records, TV with cable channels and apps like Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, Pandora.
If you are traveling with kids let us know so we can make your stay more enjoyable by adding pack-n-play, stroller, and age-appropriate kids toys.
Great for business travelers - high-speed wireless internet, work desk in one of the bedrooms.
Some traffic noise from an occasionally busy street. However, all street-facing windows have soundproof panes, so it is quiet inside.
Colorado is either muddy or dusty so we ask that you remove your shoes so we can maintain the beauty of the hardwood floors.
