Boat stay was a fun experience and this is in a great spot!
This review is about the boat we actually stayed on, Stars Hollow. We booked Poseidon's Escape but about 2 weeks before we were scheduled to arrive they emailed us notifying us that the boat had been removed from the harbor and substituted Stars Hollow boat. We enjoyed staying on a boat and this harbor is in the perfect spot for walking to everywhere. The subway is very close. We went in early October and it got a little chilly. There was no heat in the boat and there was only one blanket in the entire boat. We also couldn't figure out some of the lights, including the string lights on the top deck. We sent an email to BHW with some suggestions but did not hear back. Hopefully they took our suggestions to heart and will make some adjustments. We would definitely stay in a boat on this harbor again!

The boat we originally booked got changed
The boat we stayed on was obviously someones project and they were a long way from having it finished. We did not stay on the boat we originally booked. So I am reviewing another boat. They made the changes and did not go through Vrbo. They discounted it by 10% and it was crap. I took photos very disappointed but we enjoyed ourselves regardless.

get away from the routine
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful VRBO property, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought and care into making their guests feel welcome. The boat house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully arranged to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The amenities were top-notch—everything from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds and stylish living areas made our stay incredibly enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the little touches, like the welcome basket filled with local treats and the comprehensive guidebook with recommendations for nearby attractions. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local shops and restaurants. We enjoyed relaxing in the lovely outdoor space, which was ideal for both morning coffee and evening relaxation. Communication with the hosts was seamless; they were responsive, friendly, and genuinely cared about ensuring we had a great experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this VRBO property to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed, and thoughtfully managed place to stay. I can't wait to return!

Perfect little boat house
We absolutely loved our stay on the boathouse. It was super clean and absolutely perfect for the two of us. The bed was also comfy and it was in the best location to everything in downtown Boston that we wanted to go to. Everything was super walkable and there were so many restaurants around there. If I had one complaint which wasn’t terrible the airport noise at 6 am with the incoming and out going planes might be annoying to some. Also we happened to be near another boat house with possibly college kids renting and they partied kinda loudly until 2 am but we were so tired I still fell asleep. Other than that we greatly enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely the best!
We had a fantastic stay on this cozy, peaceful little houseboat. Perfect location to walk to great restaurants, and explore Boston. Nights on the rooftop offered amazing views of the city. The boat was impeccable, bed very comfortable. Will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Boston Vacation
The time there was great. My only suggestion would be to supply more towels and wash cloths hand towels and kitchen towels. The shower and sink water is a little on the cool side. Everything else was good. Bed slept really well. I would book it again.

Vacation at Boston Harbor
Amazing property, location and service from start to finish! Beautifully appointed houseboat with deck located in Lewis Wharf in Boston. Houseboat has everything you could ask for! Panoramic views of Boston Harbor, quiet location, easy access to tourist sites. Can’t wait to stay again! Only concern please consider replacing deck furniture especially table, chairs and one sofa. Thank you for providing an unusual acclimation leading to a wonderful, relaxing stay!
