We really enjoyed our stay at Intercontinental Boston. The hotel is wonderful and the location is great. Service was also excellent. Great spa there too. My only disappointment was that Expedia had confirmed a Channel view room but the hotel did not have any more water view rooms available. They said that Expedia didnt submit the reservation until later and they had already sold out of water view rooms. This is not good. If Expedia cannot correctly confirm the room that I paid for, (charging more for a water view than a city view), then I will not be using Expedia to book another vacation. There is no excuse for this misleading confirmation of a water view room only to be told they are now sold out. Expedia should not be using this kind of misrepresentation in their online booking system if the room that you are confirmed to have is not available.
