I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. My first trip to Boston. I expected a similar tone as NYC BUT NOPE. The staff were plentiful and so nice. I received several texts during my stay checking on me. Any question I had was promptly answered and respectfully! The staff seemed to really enjoy being there. The room was also surprisingly spacious and clean. It was a rather quiet area for downtown Boston. The only issue I had was the AC would not go below 72 and it was pretty warm inside that night. But the windows opened and fixed that. When inquired about, I was asked if I needed an engineer to come fix. This hotel was within walking distance of the Quincy Market, Paul Revere’s house, birthplace of Ben Franklin, TJ Maxx, Walgreens, CVS and several restaurants. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to Back Bay where there’s lots of shopping, Central Perk cafe, Boston Commons. I would definitely recommend!

The staff especially the Badar the bell cap was outstanding. Even though we didn’t need his services, he always smiles and when he saw us. I was traveling with my service dog and he was very loving to him. The reception staff was also very friendly and helpful. The The breakfast restaurant staff was equally kind and friendly. My only issue is the $50 “destination” fee. The reason for it kept changing depending who I asked. Supposedly it covers wi-fi, health club, and a $10 credit each day to use in their restaurants. I have my own wi-fi, can’t use the health club due to knee surgeries and didn’t like being forced to eat on the premises. I chose the hotel due to its affordability but didn’t find out about this extra charge until checkin. Not cool!

Great hotel for our weekend trip to Boston to see Sting at the MGM Music Hall. Easy walking to downtown harbor, shopping and Freedom Trail. Good room/bed and great coffee at Tradewinds next to the hotel lobby. We'd stay again.

Nice place. Staff was very friendly. Nice walk to northend of boston for food. Next to quincy market. Parking was 65 a day and had a hidden urban fee of 30 a day after laying was the only thing i did not like.
