I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. My first trip to Boston. I expected a similar tone as NYC BUT NOPE. The staff were plentiful and so nice. I received several texts during my stay checking on me. Any question I had was promptly answered and respectfully! The staff seemed to really enjoy being there. The room was also surprisingly spacious and clean. It was a rather quiet area for downtown Boston. The only issue I had was the AC would not go below 72 and it was pretty warm inside that night. But the windows opened and fixed that. When inquired about, I was asked if I needed an engineer to come fix. This hotel was within walking distance of the Quincy Market, Paul Revere’s house, birthplace of Ben Franklin, TJ Maxx, Walgreens, CVS and several restaurants. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to Back Bay where there’s lots of shopping, Central Perk cafe, Boston Commons. I would definitely recommend!

Our room was spectacular. Very comfortable and had nice views. The coffee/bar was really nice with great coffees, easy foods and pastry. The doorman was super friendly and Edina at the front desk was spectacular, so accommodating and pleasant.

Good hotel, good location but service unremarkable
The hotel is located in the heart of downtown, in a quiet area close to Quincy Market and the Harborwalk. Upon my arrival, I received an excellent welcome. I visited the on-site restaurants (the coffee shop and the bar), and once again, the service was outstanding. I recommend parking your car yourself to save money, as the parking garage is just two blocks away, which isn’t far at all. However, I had upgraded my room through an invitation email, but when I arrived, no one informed me that the upgrade wasn't available. Instead, I was given a room with a very poor view. I went back to the front desk and only then was I told that my upgrade wasn't available, with no apology offered. The customer service at the front desk was quite unremarkable.

The entire property was so clean. Everyone that works there was so pleasant starting with Eddie, the valet. If I am ever in Boston again, The Dagny will be my choice. I very much enjoyed my entire stay and felt very safe walking around downtown.

This was our second stay and The Dagny Hotel and it was better than the first! The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. The facilities are very nice and exceptionally clean. This hotel has great amenities and we really enjoyed the fitness center. It was one of the best we’ve seen in a hotel.
