Super close to anything you want in Salem. Parking is on site and easy to use. Breakfast had some options and changed every other day, so you aren't eating the same foods every morning.

Listened to motorcycles racing outside between 7-10 PM. Just annoying. We stay in Hampton hotels a lot through Expedia. These have to be the SMALLEST king size bedrooms that I have ever stayed in. We felt crammed. Was broadsided by the $25 a night parking fee above the room price when we arrived. Otherwise, this Hampton is good.

Parking gives me pause
I wish I had known about the parking situation prior to booking this hotel. We ended up taking two vehicles at $25 per vehicle per night. It was very expensive to park. In addition, one of our vehicles had a kayak rack on the top that had to be removed in order to park in the parking garage. if we had wanted to park without removing it, it would’ve cost $50 a night. Everything else about the hotel was expected and about average for Hampton Inn.

The ac in our room was broken so it was uncomfortably warm, the room also smelled like a wet dog and the carpet was sticky, The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to switch rooms for the last night of our stay since the AC was not able to be fixed, im fairly certain they had to remove the unit completely from the room. While the second night was fine, the first night was uncomfortable.

This hotel hit all of the important points for our recent staycation. It was clean and the staff were friendly. On site parking is convenient and offers a valet option too. There are a lot of activities, sights, stores and dining options in the area. The hotel has a great breakfast spread too. We’d definitely return.

This was my second stay at this hotel. Staff is great, rooms are clean and comfy. Right in the middle of everything so you can walk to all of the attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Definitely where I’m staying whenever I visit Salem.

We checked in a bit late and the parking attendant greeted us and was helpful and friendly. As we proceeded to the front desk the gentleman there was also very friendly, answered all our questions and even did a follow up to make sure our room was satisfactory. The hotel in nice modern and clean. The breakfast had a variety of selection's and was really over the top . We would definitely stay in this hotel again in the future. Also loved that is was walkable to tons of happening things in the city.
