Everything except for the bed is terrible, well it's only ok, but better than elsewhere, more than two pillows for a double would have been appreciated.
The bathroom stinks, and the mirror surround looks like poorly painted wood, but is infact poorly painted polystyrene!!!! TV hdmi doesn't work (nor other connections) tho it's pretty big, and have the awful restaurant music blasting down from upstairs, don't stay on the 4th floor of building two!
The next morning we went to breakfast which was less than appealing, sour cream, rubbery eggs, or synthetic cake anyone? I did find some bread and cheese which was passable. On return to our room there was no electricity, so had to speak to the front desk again (first time was to sort the drain out the night before). Somehow the hallway fuse had been switched off. Next annoyance was the cleaning lady knocking on our door wanting to clean, 45 minutes before check out.
The final insult was check out consisted of the front desk man holding out his hand for our key cards with only a grunt of acceptance. How this is a 4* hotel I have no idea. We did sit by the pool for a bit after check out since it was sunny and we didn't need to get to the airport for a while, but were 'surprised' at the poor quality and number of broken sun-loungers. I'd say bring a tent and stay somewhere close to the cave city of Varsia (which is well worth the journey) than staying in this hotel.
