Linville River Cottage

Hosted by Flying Squirrel Cottages, Linville River Cottage is an intimate, cozy cottage ready to provide a base for your breathtaking adventures at Grandfather Mtn, Linville and Wilson Gorges or to offer serene solitude for relaxation.

Nestled in a small cottage community adjacent to the Linville River you will enjoy common picnic spaces with amenities close by with nice views of the Linville River. Enjoy the decks front and back with the rear including a gas bbq grill.

We have the space set up for self check-in so you may arrive at your leisure without worry of disturbance.

Your four hosts, Cam, Lisa, Anne and Kip are readily available via phone or email to answer any questions but we will not come to the cabin during your stay unless needed.

This is part of a small community of cottages on the bank of the Linville River. There are common picnic tables and charcoal grills available to our guests. River access is available a short walk past the nearby bridge.

There is a 5mph speed limit in the community that must be strictly adhered to.
All dogs, regardless of breed/size must be on a leash when outside.

There is a parking spot to the left of the cottage that is shared with the neighbor, if you park there please stay to the far right. Alternatively you can park in front of the cottage.

There is a security camera at the exterior of the front door that is only accessed if a problem occurs.

The design is an open plan with the bed to the left upon entering, living room & kitchen to the right and the far left corner closed in for the bath.
The couch is a futon and is comfortable for an adult or a couple of children, sized to hold someone up to 6' tall.
We have high speed internet available so feel free to stream your favorite shows, work remotely, etc.
There is parking for 1 car to the left of the cottage.

Due to a large increase in booking volume and the cleaning process our team adheres to requiring the full turnover window, early checkin or late checkout aren't possible.

This property has restrictions that do not permit:

to be parked or kept within the properties.
