What i liked was far less than what I enjoyed. What I enjoyed was the day spent at the taj mahal. I thoroughly enjoyed the taxi driver who took us to the venue. I thought carlos huerta was a hardworking and very understanding gentlemen. The 2 rooms we stayed in were clean and the room service. Staff was excellent in responding to our requests. As well as cleaning the room and making sure we had what we needed with regard to clean towels and amenities. Now, with regard to what I did not enjoy.... The front desk staff was terrible. From the time that we arrived right up to the time that we checked out. I felt demeaned and disrespected. The first room they put us in despite seeing that I was in a full leg boot, they put us in this room with a minimal amount of space between the end of the bed and the dressers. I explained to them that I had banged my leg four times that night. Eventually they moved us into another room the next day and the only difference was there was more space between the end of the bed and the dressers. The shower was woefully inadequate for a person of my size. The shower head hit me at my neck. I had to step over the tub to get into the shower, and with my leg being in the shape it was in it was very difficult.I almost fell a couple of times. When I brought this to the staff's attention, the demeaning and disrespect began. Beyond that, the bed broke and no one ever attended to that. Other than the front desk staff who came up initially, need tl say more

They charge 90,000 pesos for receiving visitors after 6PM. Absolutely unheard of. Other than that, a very average stay. The bathroom was tiny, the service at the restaurant was slow, the facilities in general were dated.

Beautiful hotel in classic Colombian style with impeccable kind helpful attentive service. Spacious rooms with big TVs comfortable beds well appointed and stocked, cleaned daily. Delicious traditional Colombian all you can eat breakfast buffet served daily. Couldn’t ask for more beautiful stay and amazing customer service half hour from airport. My place to stay when in Colombia!
