Alongside the ancient bridge which crosses the River Camel, located centrally between Bodmin and Wadebridge, you will find Chapel Annex, forming part of this stunning former 12th Century Chapel, previously featured in the ’25 Most Beautiful Homes’ magazine.
From the entrance you will find a cosy, welcoming living space with plenty of relaxing seating and a wonderful wood burner and luxury bed linen in the bedroom. The mature south facing communal garden and private woodland boast a beautiful rhododendron bush and a majestic giant redwood, and is carpeted by a luscious green lawn, tempting you to enjoy all that it has to offer. Look out for the Medieval water feature and the private Victorian gateway which will lead you onto the world-renowned Camel Trail, along which showcases some of the best views and countryside in Cornwall. The chapel’s walled remnants shroud a private outdoor space where you can enjoy the sun until late, while you enjoy a glass of something special, perhaps from The Camel Valley Vineyard?
