Cae Canol Cottage is a cosy semi detached cottage in Cwm Teigl, nestled next to the grade II* listed 500 year old stone Cae Canol Farmhouse with stunning views of the surrounding Snowdonia National Park. Your holiday starts as you drive along half a mile of gated trackway through rolling farmland as it steadily climbs towards Manod Mawr, where you will find Cae Canol at the foot of the impressive Mountain slopes. Perfect for couples, this cottage offers everything you need with a mezzanine bedroom over an open plan living area with log burning stove, contemporary kitchen and shower room. From the door step are breathtaking views in all directions, from the unspoiled surrounding countryside and beyond to the Snowdonia National Park, with gorgeous sunsets over the valley towards the coast and the Llyn Peninsula.

Exploring the local area:
Cae Canol is the perfect place for your North Wales holiday, with ample opportunities for country lovers to explore the local countryside straight from the door. Local lake and river fishing can be arranged with permits available through Cambrian Angling.

For thrill seekers, Zip World: Titan, Bounce Below underground trampoline nets, and Antur Stiniog mountain biking are all in easy reach.
A short drive away is the harbour town of Porthmadog and the beautiful village of Borth Y Gest where you can start your walk along the coastal path with views over the estuary towards Portmeirion (11 miles). Black Rock Sands (13 miles) allows you to drive straight on to the 3 miles of sand and dunes and if you can tempt yourself further afield, then visit Harlech Castle (14 miles), Swallow Falls and Betws y Coed (15 miles) in the Conwy valley, Coed y Brenin mountain bike centre, and Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon (30 miles).

We fell in love with the cottage and the surroundings straight away. Lots of lovely walks without getting in the car at all for the whole stay. So peaceful and quiet, just the streams and the sheep ,

Well equipped cozy cottage
It was a lovely stay at the cottage, it has good access to walking routes, with a lake situated nearby. The cottage was clean and well appointed while staying very cozy. The lean to was well equipped with washer, dryer and dish washer with detergent supplied. This is shared with the two other rental properties nearby one of which is attached to this cottage, so you will have neighbours. Overall it was a lovely, relaxing stay and we would definitely visit again.
